I don’t think that is correct with military security clearances. So I have pinged a list Freepers who have had or still had top secret clearances. Decades ago, I had a Top Secret Clearance, which was granted by the Navy.
Maybe some of the nice Freepers on this list can clarify us re who issues TS clearances.

Your right it is insane and the longer it’s left, the less chance there will be of doing a thing about it. Soon Obama will have his OWN military force, “stronger than the US military” unquote to protect him in his KINGS position. In the military it's referred to as getting inside the enemy's decision cycle. It's very, very effective. In a political arena, extraordinarily so.
After the Dear Leader took office my first impression was that they were incompetent amateurs. I formed that opinion by looking at the illogical nature of individual proposals. The story isn't in the details - it's in the mass of details. My first impression was very, very wrong.
That’s true, it will be hard to deny standing against the DOD and his employer. However, I can easily see a judge limiting the scope of any discovery to the DOD’s retaliation and not his initial questions.
Imagine if Bush fired LAWYERS which he did. This is one of our soldiers.

Was deployment/following orders part of his job description?
I imagine it would be.
If so, wouldn’t he expect to be fired?
It could also be said that he lost his civilian job due his to being in the Reserves, which I think could be a problem.
