I post many items here, from business to politics and evrything in between, and sometimes entertainment as a nice distraction from all of the corrupt politicians. Recently I tried to post an article about a supermodel who is pregnant. I thought it was a mistake after it was pulled the first time, but it was pulled a second.
What is so objectionable to this news item? And is there a place we can look for a set of rules, as I have seen much worse than this posted int he past.
Context is everything. He should have changed the title to read "Supermodel Chooses Life Over Abortion". Would have skated through fine....
Free Republic takes a dim view of people without navels pregnant or otherwise.
LOL!
I don’t consider anything on FOxnews to be “questionable material”
Pictures that were not appropriate, perhaps?
The 2nd posting had no pictures.
I’ve had several business articles pulled recently. One was from Bloomberg- I tried to post directly from it but got the ‘prohibited’ message, so I just posted a link to the article and it got pulled.
What, we’re to never ever reference Bloomberg here in any way?
Then, I tried to post a Thomas Woods article that was prohibited because it was from lewrockwell.com. That was prohibited too.
Let’s get a grip. This is just getting stupid.
I guess it all depends on where you posted your story. or maybe you caught one of the mods on a bad day. Hard to say what the reason was.
I’ve posted a few stories somewhat like yours and haven’t had one yanked. Maybe I’ve just been lucky with that.
Here’s what I’d do...
I always think about where it’d be best to place the story. If I were posting a story like yours, I’d place it in General/Chat. usually, that does the trick for me.
Remember, Sidebar Moderator is no longer with us or at least reported missing. He or she fell off the ship.
One was posted in General/Chat, one in News/Misc.
Both pulled.
On different days.
Try posting it in Religion.
She wore heels.
It was hot.
As long as she didn't pull your thread...
You forgot the most important rule on FR: Don’t cross Jim Thompson.
You were missing a link to YouTube.
Oh REALLY?
They have more celebrity gossip than the Enquirer and that idiotic "naughty librarian" sex column writer who posts quasi-serious articles about multiple orgasms and "sexting".
You really have to wade through thigh-deep sewage to find the real news on Foxnews.com
That does it. I spit out my orange juice on the monitor. I’m going back to bed.
LOL
;) That was funny.
Exactly...
Still, with all that is going on here, imho, it is possible that the subject matter was deemed inappropriate or frivolous.
