Many believe that Mount Ararat in Turkey hold the remains of Noah's Ark.

They’ve been discovering Noah’s ark there since I was a kid. Leonard Nimoy even narrated its discovery.
Bingo.
How long does it take to get up to a mountain and check it out?
No one can ever prove it's Noah's Ark just like they can't prove the Shroud was the image of Jesus HIMSELF.
Was there a great flood?? Why not??...We saw the workings of a Tsunami in our lifetime.
It all makes for good, long-lasting stories though.
Is this the stick again or one of those shadows on the mountain?
I recall reading this stuff in the 70’s, along with Late, Great Planet Earth, Bigfoot and books on the coming ice age.
It would seem the todays tech would allow someone to go up and check out rumors like this. Not easily, but very possible.
If I recall correctly, the reason they haven’t been able to get people up there is because the Turkish government won’t issue permits for them. For some reason, a muslim government doesn’t want evidence of Biblical events made public ... go figure.
the problem is the government will not allow anyone on the mountain.
With a helicopter, about 15 minutes ... tops!
THe Turkish govt is not Moose-limb. Not yet anyway.
It could be they don’t want to waste money rescuing nutcases lost in the mountains, taken hostage by local hill tribes (Turkish hillbillys - now there is a thought) or any number of reasonable excuses.
As far as the ark itself - it is as likely to be found as the UFO base at the HAARP installation....

LIFE magazine did an article on it back about 1960. Not new news at all.
We can’t keep BASE jumpers off national monuments, controlled buildings, etc.
If it was there, hundreds of people would have seen it, touched it, and photographed it.
And then there’s them “satellite’ thingies.
The Russians claimed they found it pre-WW1. Supposedly the evidence was destroyed by the atheist commies after the revolution. Before that, some monks supposedly built a shrine on the mountain out of timber from the ark. They’ve been finding the ark for centuries.
Apparently you haven’t been to the Middle East and traveled into the high country. You don’t just go anywhere you want. Your response is rather naive.
Keep in mind that Mount Ararat is located in Eastern Turkey on the borders of Iran, Armenia (formerly U.S.S.R.), and Nakchivan. IOW, a potential powerkeg.
