Dinosaur herd buried in Noahs Flood in Inner Mongolia, China
by Tas Walker Published: 14 April 2009
An international team of scientists have uncovered graphic evidence of the deadly terror unleashed on a herd of dinosaurs as they were buried under sediment by the rising waters of Noahs Flood in western Inner Mongolia (figure 1).[1]
Dinosaur bones were first discovered at the site, located at the base of a small hill in the Gobi Desert, in 1978 by a Chinese geologist. After about 20 years, a team of Chinese and Japanese scientists recovered the first skeletons, which they named Sinornithomimus, meaning Chinese bird mimic.
A few years later in 2001, the international team excavated the remains of more than 25 dinosaurs, creating a large quarry in the process as they as they followed the skeletons into the base of the hill. Remarkable excavation
As the team carefully mapped the location of the bones and strata that contained them (figure 2), it became clear that the dinosaurs were all within the same layer of mudstone (i.e. the same bedding plane), generally facing the same direction and remarkably well preserved.[2]...

That geologist thought the Earth to be millions of years old before Darwin was born should have some impact on your thinking.
The question is why doesn’t it?
I don’t know what that means. What’s your point?
When? In the 15th century?
The passage speaks of the Behometh. Please reconcile how it may in any manner refer to a dinosaur.
Isn’t that the actor dude from Hellboy?
“The biblical unicorn could have been an aurochs (a kind of wild ox known to the Assyrians as rimu).7 The aurochss horns were very symmetrical and often appeared as one in profile, as can be seen on Ashurnasirpal IIs palace relief and Esarhaddons stone prism.8 Fighting rimu was a popular sport for Assyrian kings. On a broken obelisk, for instance, Tiglath-Pileser I boasted of slaying them in the Lebanon mountains.9
“Extinct since about 1627, aurochs, Bos primigenius, were huge bovine creatures.10 Julius Caesar described them in his Gallic Wars as:
a little below the elephant in size, and of the appearance, color, and shape of a bull. Their strength and speed are extraordinary; they spare neither man nor wild beast which they have espied . . . . Not even when taken very young can they be rendered familiar to men and tamed. The size, shape, and appearance of their horns differ much from the horns of our oxen. These they anxiously seek after, and bind at the tips with silver, and use as cups at their most sumptuous entertainments.’11
“The aurochs highly prized horns would have been a symbol of great strength to the ancient Bible reader.”
Were you asking whether we have fossils for creatures that existed until the 1600s? I don’t know if we have fossils; perhaps we have actual skeletons and personal accounts like the ones above. They aren’t the horned horses you’re possibly thinking about. The King James Bible writers probably did not have a better English word to use. The Hebrew word was reem, which may mean strong ox, or buffalo. Interesting, isn’t it?
“The rivers and the rocks, the seas and the continents have been changed in all their parts; but the laws which direct those changes, and the rules to which they are subject, have remained invariably the same.” -From Charles Lyell’s, The Principles of Geology, 1830.
Oh. God only saw them in profile?
I assume Enoch is a book of prophecy. Prophetic writings are based on visions that God gave to his prophets. Besides that, my Bible doesn’t have 1 Enoch or 2 Enoch in it. Where is it in the Biblical canon?
And all this time I thought the bible was the word of god only to find out it is limited by the ignorance of the writers ....
Does this mean they are relevant or irrelevant?
Another opinion:
“One definite possibility is the Indian rhinoceros, of which there are still about 2000 alive today. They used to cover large areas, but are now limited to India and Nepal. They weigh about 4,500 pounds, can run at over 20 miles an hour; they have one large horn on the snout and their scientific name is Rhinoceros UNICORNIS.
“In the original 1611 edition of the KJB, the editors placed or Rhinoceros in the margin of Isaiah 34:7 where it reads: And the unicorns shall come down with them. It is still in the modern editions of the KJB. So the KJB editors were not ignorant of the possibility of the unicorn being a rhinoceros. I do not know, nor does any one else but God, what the unicorn was or is.
“It was a one horned animal of great strength; it could not be tamed, and it is always used in a good and positive sense in Scripture. The KJB is not in error by translating this word as unicorn, but the modern versions are just taking a wild guess with their wild oxen and the other scriptures show their wild guess to be wrong.
Basically. Is this news to you? The Sunday vs. Saturday/Lord's Day vs. Sabbath debate has been well documented going back to the early church. There are whole books on the subject.
Enoch isn’t a canonical book and is not regarded as divinely inspired.
Visions given to prophets had to be described in terms the individual had available to him. So to John who wrote Revelations, when he was shown visions of events yet to occur, could only reach for words in his vocabulary. How could he describe a tank or a jet except with first century terms? I don’t accept Enoch as a canonical, divinely inspired book, but if it were prophetic, he apparently would use terms in his vocabulary to describe objects he saw in his prophetic vision. It seems pretty simple to me.
I hope this helps you.
Chuck Darwin....
Imagine you are a first century writer. How do you describe a tank that God showed you in a vision? Keeping in mind it has to be something your readers can envision and understand.
Does that help?
I learn something everyday! Imagine that. The KJV authors were writing English in the first century!
The people of the OT were under the Abrahamic covenant which included the law which addressed the sabbath and how to treat it.
The people after Christ's death and resurrection are held under a different covenant. This covenant makes the law of Abraham unnecessary. The law of the Jews was not meant to save them; it was meant to show them how imperfect they are an how much they are in need of a Messiah. Christ's covenant was an answer to Abraham's covenant. Therefore, Christians changed the date to celebrate Christ's resurrection and the new covenant.
Perhaps my description wouldn't make sense back then but when read now it would make sense, unlike your previous passages and explanations.
It does start to get even more confusing ...
... when trying to decide which day is Sunday!
