I haven’t read through this whole thread yet, I’m sure someone else mentioned this already, but THIS is the Army this jerk is referring to: The “National Civilian Community Corps” (NCCC). It becomes a reality via the “National GIVE Act” or the “Serve America Act”(As it’s called in the Senate”.

The House version passed last week includes money for a committee to study the “Feasibility” of making the NCCC a MANDATORY service for all young people... The purpose of this “permanent cadre” is to be at the beck and call of the Federal Government to respond to Natural and “OTHER” emergencies (riots or to enforce Martial Law, or just harass the AIG execs, etc... etc...).
These people will also be USED to supply the labor to build infrastructure projects for the Government. They will live in CAMPS, and will have UNIFORMS.
A spending cap on this project is non-existant (in the House version - not sure on the Senate version), which goes along with what Obama spoke of during the election — that his NATIONAL CIVILIAN SECURITY FORCE would be as “Well-Funded, well-trained, and as Well-Equipped as our MILITARY”...
...and another thing. It would be difficult to form an army when most of the coward p*ssies on the left will *cringe* at the sight of a gun.

Exactly... They are stupid if they think that there will be a majority people on their side with all the laws they’ve been passing the last 2 months. We’re not quite as gullible as they thing we are...
It’s going to be interesting - a bunch of two-bit gangsters (most of who couldn’t hit the broad side of a barn with their weapons) versus well-trained, and well-supplied former military members, and others who are just “really into” shooting...

Trust me, I’m seeing this the same as you are... I am under no misconception that there is ANYTHING ‘innocent’ about the NCCC. It’s going to be Obama’s personal Gestapo...

They might try to enforce some sort of anti-citizen directives through the military, but do you think they’ll obey en masse? I think Obama is covering all his bases with that directive as well as organizing the new NCCC as his personal SS/Gestapo.
The directive to the DoD itself does violate one more part of the Constitution though... Unless they think they can bypass the restriction on using the military in the U.S. by saying these are DoD CIVILIANS, and not SOLDIERS. (Not that it stopped them the other week down south...).
Stuff like that will make not only a civil war possible, but likely.
