'Sanctions' sought in President's Eligibility case

A high-powered team of Los Angeles attorneys representing President Obama in his effort to keep his birth certificate, college records and passport documents concealed from the public has suggested there should be "monetary sanctions" against a lawyer whose clients have brought a complaint alleging Obama doesn't qualify for the Oval Office under the Constitution's demand for a "natural born" citizen in that post.

The suggestion came in an exchange of e-mails and documents in a case brought by former presidential candidate Alan Keyes and others in California. The case originally sought to have the state's electors ordered to withhold their votes for Obama until his eligibility was established. Since his inauguration, it has been amended to seek a future requirement for a vetting process, in addition to the still-sought unveiling of Obama's records.

After looking into this for 6 months I am still left with more questions than answers.

You just summarized my endeavors to a tee!

My guess is a lot of info has been literally scrubbed off the web. Who knows how many witnesses are missing,ala Clinton style, and what the real story is.

This is going to take a lot of investigation and may take a while.

But it really doesn't matter, because ALL CITIZENSHIP of the United States is defined by the Fourteenth Amendment.

Hmmm, I don't see the words "Natural Born" anywhere in the 14th Amendment:

Amendment XIV

(Ratified July 9, 1868)

Section 1

"All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside. No State shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; nor shall any State deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws."

BUT, I do see "Natural Born Citizen" here (and in about 30 other attempted NBC Amendments AFTER 1868):

I've also pointed that out - that the "natural born clause" is a special category all unto its own, and that it has always been interpreted to mean a child born in the US to two US citizens.

That clause also requires legitimate proof of birth and citizenship for THREE PEOPLE, and not just the child who grows up and runs for President.

Scrubbing is still going on as evidenced by the post on Ann Dunham’s wiki about the East West Center that lasted less than 24 hours. It’s also convenient that so many people who could have some knowledge of events are dead. Even one of the two teachers of the Russian language class has died, she passed away in 2005 but not all the students who took that class could be dead. The question then is why has not one of them come forward? Not a single person has come forward with any memories of the student Ann Dunham in classes for the 1960 semester.
Alice G. Dewey has certainly had plenty to say but if she mentions Ann and Obama Sr then her testimony is hearsay as she wasn’t on the faculty of UH until 1963 and yet info on the 80 year old Dewey is sparse as well. It certainly raises even more questions!

I think it is pretty clear that Odumbo had an Indonesian passport several years ago, because he sure as hell did not travel to Pakistan on an American passport (one of the reasons he steadfastly refuses to present his BC, his school records, and his passport records. Apparently he did not get a U.S. passport until he ran for public office.

Sums up your case nicely. You don’t care that the presidency has probably been usurped by a lying marxist. We do. We plan to do all that we can to prove it and protect the constitution. Chalk this one up to ‘irreconcillable differences.”

This has to be the most specious and bankrupt of all your arguements. He isn’t a private citizen. He claims to be qualified to be POTUS, a position that has a requirement that he be a natural born citizen. His conduct and actions indicate that he is not or may not be, a natural born citizen. I and thousands of others, are not content to see someone in charge of the awesome power of this country who is subceptible to blackmail by foreign powers and who has no right to hold the office.

All detective or police work involves a certain amount of speculation. By your twisted lights, no arrests could be made unless the arresting agencies had PROOF that the perp did it. That is why police and officers of the court are given supeona power, grand juries, summonses, warrants, probable cause power, etc, etc, so as to ferret out the truth before a proper tribunal. Just think of us as speaking truth to power.

People with your attitude, employing sophistry and the law, will be the death of this republic.

Indeed! It's going to take an investigative reporter with lots of sources and loads of dough to get to the bottom of whomever this guy is and wherever he comes from. Given enough money there are a number of people who could do it.For all we know its happening now.

I believe the attorneys are working hard but I’d LOVE to see a conservative “Woodward and Bernstein.”

There area handful like Michelle Malkin or even the gal over at Atlas Shrugs that could probably get the job done(I can think of a half dozen Freepers that are capable but probably way too busy) given enough time and money,would not be easy though with so many key people missing and so much info gone.

So many in the MSM and even bloggers (M. Malkin, P. Geller)
and a whole host of others (Rush, Hannity) never wanted to delve into it.

Yeah, there are alot of key people missing and info gone...maybe that’s why “they” (whoever is controling this mess) felt that this was the best time to get BO elected. If there’s some kind of a “paper trail” out there, I’m sure it’s been burned.

One of these 42 lawsuits has to be heard. God, please make it soon.

I can’t honestly think there is such a thing as an “investigative reporter” left in the U.S. One of the few I have seen who tells it like it is doesn’t even live in the U.S. I am referring to Melanie Phillips in the U.K. Reporters in this country felt they did their job and vetting of Jr by reading his book! Some job they did relying on a fairytale!

I absolutely do care about the usurpation of the office of President. However I haven't seen any credible evidence that such a usurpation has taken place. All I have seen has been what amounts to a bunch of chimpanzees jumping up and down screeching and flailing their arms.

Sure, detective or police work involves a certain amount of speculation. But people aren't arrested in this country based on mere suspicion. That's for communist police states. Is that what you're advocating?

In this country, mere speculation means nothing. To make an arrest, you must first have some credible evidence which forms the foundation of probable cause, which is what is required to make an arrest in THIS country.
