A private investigator has released to WND an affidavit that casts doubt on whether Barack Obama's family lived at the address listed in the published notice of his birth in 1961.
Jorge Baro was hired by WND to investigate issues related to Obama's birth amid allegations the Democrat does not meet the Constitution's requirement that a president be a "natural born citizen."
Baro's affidavit documents an interview his staff conducted with Beatrice Arakaki, who has lived at 6075 Kalanianaole Highway in Honolulu since before Obama was born.
The affadivit is at the center of a federal lawsuit filed prior to the November election in Hattiesburg, Miss., before U.S. District Judge Keith Starrett. The suit is one of several yet to be adjudicated that calls for proof of Obama being a "natural born citizen" as required by the Constitution.
Baro is the in-house senior investigator for Elite Legal Services, LLC, in Royal Palm Beach, Fla.

Thanks, LucyT
Ping.
Orlando was a professor at the University of Hawaii, according to his obit in the same paper that printed Barry's birth announcement. also here. According to the obits, Thelma was his "companion", although they had kids, grandkids and one great grand kid together).
I also found a 2003 photo of him in a group touring "Battleship row". Tall wild haired fellow, but definitely a Haole.
Thelma died June 28th of this year She was 91, as was Orlando when he died a year or so earlier.
[**Elect a Cokehead 08!**]
And, it seems they did!!
Thanks for this! I would have missed it otherwise. You know I used to believe that Obama was just hiding something embarrassing but the more we learn the more I am inclined to believe that the guy isn’t constitutionally qualified.
How do you know that Engineer? I trained as an RN at Vancouver General Hospital from 1965 - 1968. Although I no longer live in Vancouver I have been attempting to get a friend to go to medical records to see if Ann Dunham was a patient in VGH on August 4, 1961. Since one is not asking for “medical information” but simply asking if a person was hospitalized in that hospital on that date is fair game as far as I’m given to understand. I know that it involves going back through micro fisched records but it can be done. I am still attempting to get someone to get around to actually DOING it. The answer just might be what we are looking for. CO
Chief — you have some really interesting snippets of information — it would be even better is you supplied your sources and links.
Although I understand your point -- yes, I affiliate not only with red but with hard right red.
I remember a number of years ago when the "red" and "blue" American terms were just starting to be used. Now, there was no law or convention as to why either left or right should be called either color. I remember conservative commentators calling conservatives blue and liberals red.
But the libs in the MSM tenaciously used blue to describe themselves. Finally, out of sheer volume of usage, the convention was established: red America is conservative. Blue America is liberal.
And you know why, of course, that the libs didn't want "red" as their color? Because in the old days "red" meant communist (remember the old leftist mantra, "better red than dead"). They didn't want to risk having to live with a color too closely associated with their, ahem, real colors.
When I found out who the owners were of the birth announcement home were I began to google and was surprised by how many dead ends I encountered. Some of the military information was from ancestry.com, and the military info when Orland Lefforge entered OCS at Ft Sill was actually found when I googled “Andrea Lefforge Harper” The first hits for “Orland Scott Lefforge” and “Thelma Young” that pop up on google are their obituaries. It takes a lot of digging to track them and I haven’t been too successful with Thelma. Some info was obtained from the memorial section dedicated to faculty at UH of Manoa which I will provide here:
http://webdata.soc.hawaii.edu/fredr/Necrology.htm
Some data was found in newspaper archives and if that is the case the name of the newspaper is identified above the story in question.
The data regarding the receipt of the M.A. and Phd started as the name of the thesis Lefforge obtained his M.A. with and I sent an email to the University of Wisconsin at Madison to verify that he had indeed been awarded both.
Finally I went to metacrawler and found the title of the article which he had published in 1971.
Lefforge’s name appears under donations for some of the places he gave money to and he is also listed as a member of the Osher Institute from google searching. I hope this helps somewhat.
Thanks. A quilt is made from many stitches.
It sure is and for searching purposes I have switched over to metacrawler, it often turns up more than google does. But I have to go AWOL for about 3 hours to clear all the spyware off my hardworking laptop. All the junk that collects in it sure slows it down.
What with his cabinet picks and his leadership so far, I am confident that Obama will prove to be a lightweight, indecisive centrist who sometimes swings left but surprisingly sticks with the right, also.
The MSM will protect him for six months but after his huge blunders the left will be major league furious with him, the right will be smelling blood, and he will be viewed like Jimmy Carter.
I just hope he carries forward on a conservative initiative that we’ve always wanted — like abolish the IRS. Something that GWB squandered his Presidency, and four years of GOP leadership in the legislature, not trying.
“As far as I can discover there is no relation between them and Jr.”
Sure, there is!
“In June, 1959, at the age of 23, Obama Sr. became the first African student enrolled at the University of Hawaii...
at Manoa.”
“On Sept 26,1960, Stanley Ann began classes at the University of Hawaii, and began an intimate relationship with Barack Obama Sr. almost immediately.”

Don’t you see the connection?
Both Obama parents were students at the university
where Prof. Lefforge taught!
Perhaps, they were even his students!
(does anyone know if he taught Russian?)
Of course, that also provides the possibility that Lefforge took them in....
or, rented them a room...
or even, perhaps had taken pity on a very pregnant young student, whose “husband” had left all alone, having returned to his home country...and his other wife.
Maybe, Orland and Thelma were just helping the girl out.
Perhaps, there had even been some hint that she’d be giving the baby up...or worse.
Perhaps, the Lefforge’s were considering taking the child.
Heck! I don’t know!
But, you must admit....when you think about it, there are
many possibilities.
So, where’s our detective minds, eh?
Orland Lefforge had a Phd in Speech as in debate and was the debate coach at UH before he returned to University of Wisconsin at Madison in 1950 to work on his Phd which he received in 1953.I did contact UH to ask when he returned to teach there but never received a reply, although I do know that by 1968 he was in Washington D.C. as an aide to Sen. Inouye. I thought of the possibility of the Lefforge’s considering adopting Jr but the announcement in the papers negates that theory. Also Obama Sr at that time was living at 625 11th Ave. in the St. Louis Heights area of Oahu which was less than 1/2 mile from UH,the Dunhams lived at 2277 Kamehameha Ave. also a 1/2 mile from UH while the Lefforge home was over 7 miles from the University.
At the time the Lefforge family consisted of Orland, his wife Thelma, their daughter Andrea (d.o.b. March 15, 1955 adopted by the Lefforges) their daughter Mia(d.o.b. 1959 adopted by the Lefforges) and son Scott (d.o.b. 1960). There is very little information to be found for the Lefforge family overall, I have more google hits for my own real name than there are for the Lefforge family!
As for your suggestion about Lefforge teaching Russian, there were supposedly two women who taught the Russian language class but the only student ever interviewed who took the course at UH was a student who took the course a few years after 1960. According to him the teacher would have been either Ella Lury Embree Wiswell or Isabella Tripianky. Ella Lury Wiswell retired from teaching at UH in 1968 and is listed in the faculty memorial as a French teacher(she had attended the Sorbonne in Paris) while the only mentions I have been able to locate for Isabella Tripianky are on a blog and in the excerpt of a book. I have found absolutely no former students of the 1960 Russian language class or at least none who have come forward.
Impressive work, CE!
Thank you!
But, doesn’t it still seem odd that the Lefforge’s adopted 2 (at least) of their 3 children?
And, how often have you heard of couples who have fertility issues, after finally deciding to adopt...becoming pregnant?
I’ve heard lots of cases like that!
Sure, we may not have the exact adoption dates, but I’d bet the two oldest kids were still babies.
Then, the Lefforge’s finally got their own biological child.
Or perhaps, even Scott came to them by other means.
So, can we completely dismiss the possibility that Jr. might have been on their “adoption radar screen?”
Look at the birthdates of “their” kids — ‘55 and ‘59...
then, ‘60 for Scott, no matter if he’s really their bio-kid, or not.
‘55, ‘59, ‘60.
I’d guess that the Lefforge’s might well have still been in “adoption mode,” in ‘61.
But, all of that likely matters little, at least for the question at hand — was Jr born in the U.S., or not?
My best guess would be — “no.”
But, guesses don’t help much, either.
The Lefforge’s are gone, sure.
But, they still have living relatives.
I’ve located a few, I think.
So, do you want to do the honors...or, must I?
My preference is that you, or one of the others here
volunteer to do it.
I’m not very good at explaining these things, and tend
to confuse people, sometimes.
Plus....I make an awful ‘first impression.’
Be careful with tracking of the Lefforge family, there is a Lefforge family in TX but it is not related to Orland’s. Andrea and her family live in Atlanta GA. Andrea has a Master of Arts in Advanced Economics and is married to one Stephen Harper. She works for the government of GA and is the mother of two children. I cannot locate Mia Lefforge Blake as there is an actress with the same name but from what I have been able to deduce she is the one with the grandchild. I have found no mention of Scott being married and honestly wonder if he is mentally challenged given his mother’s age when he was born.
