Because in the old days
I'm 70 -- from the "old days" -- and remember all that stuff too well.
Then, the communists operated underground, now they are right out front and ridicule anyone who identifies them.
Obama may not be a communist, but he is most definitely a fellow traveler and the people closest to him, since he was 12, have all been communists -- Davis, Palmer, Ayers, Klonsky and others.
Wasn't being critical, just the first thought that entered my head.

What with his cabinet picks and his leadership so far, I am confident that Obama will prove to be a lightweight, indecisive centrist who sometimes swings left but surprisingly sticks with the right, also.
The MSM will protect him for six months but after his huge blunders the left will be major league furious with him, the right will be smelling blood, and he will be viewed like Jimmy Carter.
I just hope he carries forward on a conservative initiative that we’ve always wanted — like abolish the IRS. Something that GWB squandered his Presidency, and four years of GOP leadership in the legislature, not trying.
