Life long republican - Drive by troll
Posted on 04/30/2006 7:25:29 AM PDT by Sara F
All my life, I believed in Republican values -- individual responsibility and limited government. Then it happened; I found myself with a small child, unemployed and disabled. I turned to my church, and after years of regular tithes, suddenly I just wasn't their problem. My Republican friends? I was now a pariah to them.
My only relief was to turn to government assistance for housing, food, and other needs and I was able to survive with dignity.
So chalk me up as one who no longer drinks the GOP koolaid.

Holy shi'ite!
Here's what my last month of weekends looked like:
Four of my daughter's friends at a slumber party
My daughter's birthday
Driving to Flagstaff /Sedona to try out a mountain biking trail for the Boy Scouts
Leading the Boy Scout ride (2-night campover)
Taxes
Another Boy Scout's Eagle Project
Buying and installing a new bike rack for the car
Buying a new Mountain Bike / Commuter bike to replace my dying 8-year-old Giant
Having the kid's bikes tuned and finding out that they are unsafe--having to do emergency shopping for kids new bikes
Job Interview prep
Cooking for the family
My wife at Girl Scout Camp for the weekend
This is the first ZOT I've been in on for quite awhile.
If you want other excitement, try the crevo threads :-)
Cheers!

All my life, I believed in Republican values -- individual responsibility and limited government. Then it happened;....Yes, it happened. You wanted a computer and Internet access to spread your whining word and found that conservative values were not consistent with affording a computer and an IP before taking care of concerning family issues first which were brought on by yourself.

Funny stuff Sarah F---I take it you don't know MiaT, who is not at all like you. Actually, your post was transparently phony---just the kind of thing a Dem provocateur would post of FR in the fond hopes that it would be picked up by someone in the MSM and released somewhere, anywhere, in order to smear FR as a hate site, or The Repubican Party as one which has lots of disillusioned people jumping ship. I frankly don't believe a word of what you wrote.

Oh boo effin' hoo. I also "found myself with a small child" and no resources in my younger years, because of the foolish choices I made about my education and who I got naked with.
I SET ASIDE my dignity for a few years and accepted the most limited assistance I could get by with, worked my behind off, and turned my life around. I am now sitting in my large, comfortable home, have a very well-paying job as does my wonderful husband, and that small child "I just happened to find myself with" is a smart, terrific, gorgeous young lady who has been sent to excellent private schools and is working on early college while completing high school.
Time to pay back for the hand up I got. And I do, every time I look at the right side of my pay stub. You're welcome. Pass it on please.

No, that post was meant for the poster of the thread. And it was just a general thought.

Sorr to hear that. But, I just saved a bundle on my car insurance by switching to Gieko.

Dear Sara (I know you're lurking),
Oh well...
ps: I wouldn't go over to the DU and post your sob story. They all b*tch that they're broke. Of course they then follow that up by saying they don't have a job either (what an odd coincidence. No job, no money. Gee whiz?!?).

Wasn't this diatribe posted here while back?
Sounds like scheduled troll from the DUmmiies marching orders manual.
Here is my sob story: came to this continent from red paradise EUweeenia with a suitcase and few exchanged bucks. Fast forward, need assistance how not to pay outrageous taxes. Never begged anyone and made my own kids and took care of them, making sure liberals do not scramble their heads.
