Republican No More, I joined this forum got a ZOT!
Life long republican - Drive by troll
Posted on 04/30/2006 7:25:29 AM PDT by Sara F
All my life, I believed in Republican values -- individual responsibility and limited government. Then it happened; I found myself with a small child, unemployed and disabled. I turned to my church, and after years of regular tithes, suddenly I just wasn't their problem. My Republican friends? I was now a pariah to them.
My only relief was to turn to government assistance for housing, food, and other needs and I was able to survive with dignity.
So chalk me up as one who no longer drinks the GOP koolaid.

LOL. I know other honest people who have worked all their lives and are now on "assistance" because of some misfortune. They don't feel the least bit guilty about it because they know where their money comes from...from other hard working folks just like them in the GOP. They wouldn't EVER dream of voting Dem.
This poster is full of it.

The story sounds rather fishy. If i were in a similar predicament,i'd much sooner approach a republican than a dim for help.Of course the republican would probably offer me a job.A dim would probably reccomend i go on the dole.

"My only relief was to turn to government assistance for housing, food, and other needs and I was able to survive with dignity."Ah, yes. Nothing says compassion like a bunch of rich liberals using other people's money to create a niche in society of people who won't ever rise above thier circumstances

- Ummm, individual responsibility... limited government?
You still believe in those values... you just can't work right now.
My only relief was to turn to government assistance for housing, food, and other needs and I was able to survive with dignity.
- Supplied by a Republican majority in government and remember... we don't have time to protest, we're busy working and taking care of our families like you (would we really take our children to those type of protests?).
So chalk me up as one who no longer drinks the GOP koolaid.
- So you gave up God and Republicans? And you posted this on a Sunday? Not a good sign, you've got to get a grip on where you're heading. I don't know what church you went to... if they taught Christ, he suffered; If you're suffering, you're carrying the cross with him. He had no place to lay his head, fished and depended on the hospitality of others. This will make you more holy... trust me.
With the same tools you sought a zot with, you can start an online business... not expensive. A child is a blessing, thank you for having him/her; Now you will be there to raise your child instead of worrying about strange individuals with no background checks watching them, or later... schools teaching your child contrary to your values, you'll be there more... and you'll know what's going on.
We know this is a cry for help... and we've heard it.
At least you can't stay away and you want to talk... oh, and find another church, after you give your pastor a scriptural lesson on taking care of his flock. Try the Lazarus story (no, not that one... the poor man/rich man).
Ciao and God bless... prayers.

Did you turn to the government for assistance first? Is it possible that you have family that you did not turn to first for assistance?

I quit the GOP when they started harvesting organs from welfare recipients.I bet your attitude will change when you need a new organ...

Sara, you will burn in hell for telling lies. It matters not that your liberal lying dim arse doesn't believe in satan, for all that matters is that he believes in you!
Be sure to keep some "Sun-Block 5000" handy!
Enjoy,

How does one find themselves with a small child? Did you make that decision or was it an immaculate conception?

Oh come on now, I made some really bad choices myself and spent time on the food stamps, housing and Medicare. It was really really hard but eventually the kids get older your jobs get better and your back out of that hole.
Pull yourself up,your eyes are opened to your Church being false so you won't waste more time there (btw Democrats go to Church too, don't blame that on Republicans) and if your friends turned on you then perhaps you were hanging out with the hard core never give help crowd and need new friends.
I know I'm not the only person on this site to have used the Goverment assistance for a time to raise my children, it doesn't mean you have to become a Democrat.
If you've worked and paid taxes your just getting some of your investment back don't let the hard noses get you down. While using assistance find a way for you to come out of your problems and get on your feet again. Lots of us have done it and continue to vote for those closes to our own values, Republicans.

Where is the daddy of your child? Where are the grandparents? I suspect if Republicans and the church won't help, there is something more going on here. Not that disasters can't happen, but this is just a troll.
