Republican No More, I joined this forum got a ZOT!
Life long republican - Drive by troll
Posted on 04/30/2006 7:25:29 AM PDT by Sara F
All my life, I believed in Republican values -- individual responsibility and limited government. Then it happened; I found myself with a small child, unemployed and disabled. I turned to my church, and after years of regular tithes, suddenly I just wasn't their problem. My Republican friends? I was now a pariah to them.
My only relief was to turn to government assistance for housing, food, and other needs and I was able to survive with dignity.
So chalk me up as one who no longer drinks the GOP koolaid.

Seriously. The rain is my fault, by the way. I activated my sprinkler system Friday evening.

Come on, Sara, tell us the truth--you were impregnated, disabled and fired by Al Franken, right?

Many of the "female" trolls that come through here seem to be men in skirts.

Maybe because you didn't know you could get it with Food Stamps-GOP Koolaid, in your soft drink aisle.
To: SandyInSeattle
No, no. It's MY fault. I washed my car on Friday.

Ah - did your baby have a father?
If not deceased, does he have no responsibility?
Curiosity: Just what was your friends supposed to do? Adopt you?
I agree, on the face of it, that your church should've been there for you - but if you chose the wrong church...well, that was your oversight.
You must know some demoRats - surely, they would jump right in and take care of you? If you didn't also pursue that avenue before turning to the government, then your protestations fall - ahh, FALSE

Tell ya what. I am thinking of starting a coal mine in my back yard here in Minnesota. I'll let you dig it for me. You can keep half of whatever you find.

I saw the video at an old job 5 years ago.
Ever since I joined FR, I thought it'd be perfect for a ZOT. Took my quite awhile to find a copy...
Please reconsider my screen name.
Meow. :-)

It takes our money and our votes to get you that assistance. Odd that "she" would go to the church for assistance. Liberals are of the mind that true charity is best administered by government and that manditory contributions are made by paying higher taxes.
If she is going to keep, er "start", voting DemocRat, (s)he needs to try getting by on government money. Besides churches only exist as a "tax dodge" for sexist-homophobe Christian conservatives. You know, the ones who oppose abortion and homosexuality in their churches. < /sarc >

Let's not jump to hasty conclusions here. Maybe a real live man wasn't involved. It could be a turkey baster pregnancy.
