Bush's Fault! Banished to backlisted cliches!
Posted on 10/08/2005 8:37:32 AM PDT by md2576
Put it here and keep it out of the threads.
I don't think anyone finds it funny anymore. Someone please, add Bush's Fault to Lake Superior State University list of blacklisted words.
Face the music. It's time you bite the bullet and go back to the drawing board to find something more cutting edge. No pennies for your thoughts, just better late than never because your beating a dead horse beyond the shadow of a doubt.

Honestly, it hasn't been funny for years.
But for some it is the closest they come to being witty.

Reminds me of the AYBABTU threads.
It ran on for months after the novelty wore off.

THANK YOU!!! I'm sick of seeing people saying that every thing is Bush's fault. Every time I see someone say that it's Bush's fault I want to reach through my computer screen and choke them.
That, too, is...nah, you know! LOL

It took me a few minutes to find those three links. I had remembered at least two prior threads so I did a [title(date)] search for "bush's fault." That found one of them I think. Then I think searched by [title(date)] for "it's Bush's fault" and found the second one. Luckily, when viewing the second link and looking few posts down there was a link to the third vanity which is the one I remembered because that one was kind of funny. It helps to be kind of creative and trying different combinations.
Here is a cool trick for you to try. Try using another search engine. Go to Yahoo, for example, and click on the "advanced" search option. Then in the search words type "Sally'sConcerns". Then, click on the option where it says search "only in this domain" and type "freerepublic.com". It will search freerepublic.com for any page where your name appears. Of course you could type additional words and narrow it down some more. This is what that advanced search will look like:
http://search.yahoo.com/search?_adv_prop=web&x=op&ei=UTF-8&fr=fp-top&va=Sally%27sConcerns&va_vt=any&vp_vt=any&vo_vt=any&ve_vt=any&vd=all&vst=on&vs=freerepublic.com&vf=all&vm=i&fl=0&n=10

Wasting bandwith is rude behavior and I won't tolerate it.
And your continued presence on this thread disrupting it is rude as well.

LOL.
Some poor guy out there probably has her for an ex-wife.
It could be worse for him though, she could be the current wife.
Blech!
Women like that make me ashamed to share the gender.

I hate it when I click the post button and immediately realize my brain was in neutral. All I can do is sit here and mumble bad things about myself. lolI do it so often, it's starting to become part of my personality. :-)

Very interesting, thank you.
One of the problems in the world today is people live by feeling and not by thinking.
Heart may be the engine that drives us but head must be the guide for heart or we end up going over a cliff.

Thank you for entrusting me with the beautiful chunks of steel that say USAF on the side! They really are beautiful, and I stand in awe at their power. I don't like to fly, so you have my respect. I will probably never fly again, after watching non stop reports of those planes crashing into the WTC. In the past I have flown when I 'had' to, but it was not something I liked to do. Now, there's no reason I have to fly. If I can't drive to get there, I don't need to go there. LOL
Oh, btw, I was in a hot air balloon crash and I've had 3 surgeries as a result, so that probably has a lot to do with my reluctance to fly again. I'm just a chicken. :o)

I knew I could do the Yahoo trick if I had posted in the thread. Though I believe it takes a couple of days for Yahoo to spider the site and pick up on any of your newest posts.
I usually try search by keyword but so many articles don't use keywords so that doesn't always work for me. If I remember the poster of the thread or even someone who has posted on the thread, I can search through their posts until I find what I'm looking for. Sometimes though I can't always remember some of the posters names on the thread.
Heck, I've even searched on my sister's screen name since there are quite a few topics we both share interests in and maybe she'll have made a comment.
Think Jim would get perturbed with me if I did a vanity about using keywords that describe the topic of the thread?
Nah, I don't think I'm up to the abuse tonight that I'd probably receive.
Ok, now I'm going to go click on the link in your post to see what I've been saying lately. I haven't used Yahoo in awhile so it might be rather interesting.
Thanks for your help!
