NY TIMES INVESTIGATES ADOPTION RECORDS OF SUPREME COURT NOMINEE'S CHILDREN
**Exclusive**
The DRUDGE REPORT has uncovered a plot in the NEW YORK TIMES' newsroom to look into the adoption of the children of Supreme Court Nominee John G. Roberts.
The TIMES has investigative reporter Glen Justice hot on the case to investigate adoption records of Judge Roberts two young children, Josie age 5 and Jack age 4, a top source reveals.
Judge Roberts and his wife Jane adopted the children when they each were infants.
Both children were adopted from Latin America.
A TIMES insider claims the look into the adoptions are part of the paper's "standard background check."
Roberts young son Jack delighted millions of Americans during his fathers Supreme Court nomination announcement ceremony when he wouldnt stop dancing while the President and his father spoke to a national television audience.
Previously the WASHINGTON POST Style section had published a story criticizing the outfits Josies and Jacks mother had them wear at the announcement ceremony.
One top Washington official with knowledge of the NEW YORK TIMES plans declared: Trying to pry into the lives of the Roberts family like this is despicable. Childrens lives should be off limits. The TIMES is putting politics over fundamental decency.
One top Republican official when told of the situation was incredulous. This cant possibly be true?

I suppose that many are so ignorant enough to think that only those with Spanish and Indian blood populate South America.
Some how they forget about the millions of Germans, Italians, and other Europeans who settled over the years in South America.
Using Mexico as a comparison for South America will get many in trouble every time.

don't the kids look more Northern European than Latin? I'm sure they're fair complexion (along with a nudge from some leftist internet scum) is what prompted the Times to launch their investigation.
They are likely fishing for some sort of "baby buying" scandal. If they can't find one, they'll just imply one.

You never know when drug-addicted mother, absent father, or the court on its own volition is going to surface and take the child away from you.Which is why so many people adopt from overseas. It isn't a racial issue, it's the knock at the door from some relative and their lawyer three or four or five years later who wants the child back. Even if you win, the stress and money involved isn't worth the risk.

The reporter would never reveal his source, the paper would defend him...wow, I can see this one has potential. Let's hope it blows up in their faces. If they were smart, they would have kept this investigation quiet, and then surprised Roberts with anything it turned up during the confirmation hearings. But the Times (and that means the Dims, in particular Hillary) wanted knowledge of this investigation made public. Drudge routinely posts stuff from the Times before it appears in the paper. Of course they're aware of this, so of course they'll feed him stuff from time to time.
If this is true, it could only mean that the Dims are completely terrified of giving Roberts the microphone at his confirmation hearings, and that they know there's no dirt they can fling at him there that will kill his nomination. So they're resorting to Plan B - forestall the hearings by convincing Roberts that it's in his best interests to withdraw his name, and send a meesage to any other conservative jurist that they need to think long and hard about what they'll say if their phone rings. What better way to do that, in the mind of a thug and a bully, than to threaten a man's children?

Of course not. The Slimes is a filthy instrument of the filthy left which still insists on THE LIBERAL DOUBLE STANDARD. When will the Repubs learn how to fight back? "They should make a public spectacle out of what the Slimes is trying to do. Absolutely scream bloody murder, foul, character assassination, all of it....but the wimps never do. They just let the libs P@ss all over them and don't fight back."
This will never happen. The pubs haven't defended themselves for the past 5 years, even with a majority, much less now! They want W and us to to their job for them! Pretty damn disgusting! So don't hold your breath on the pubs coming to Roberts defense! Voin*itch will probably have another hissy fit cry on the senate floor over Roberts and the Gang of 14 will convey to make deals behind close doors...freakin outrage! Unfortunately the filibuster has already been inflicted by the RATS and their media cronies to delay, obstruct and destroy Judge Roberts! It's gonna get real nasty. I just hope he makes it to the senate floor for a vote!! :(

Maybe they think he is an alien from space who adopted human children to fool the Senate (senate=ship of fools).Unbelievable what the scumbags wont do to screw Bush.

"Yep - the Times wanted this made public - now the question becomes why. So far the intimidation angle is the one that makes the most sense."
See my post #191. The libs are trying to spin this into a racism issue, i.e., "Roberts must have rejected a lot of brown babies in Latin American before he found these two perfect little blondes. Looks like racism to me." That's how they're spinning it, and that's why the Times raised the issue.

I quit giving DU my time about a year ago. Apparently, their posters are either junior high dropouts, or drug-damaged adults. I've never read such silliness in my life! I've read better "literature" from low-performing second graders.

The latin blondes on Sabado Gigante are smoking.
Between the hot chicks, the goofy costumes, the dumb games, and the slapstick, Sabado Gigante can keep my easily-amused mind occupied for a long time, even though I only understand random words here and there.
