Just now on his radio show...says we taken over by fringe people
Well, I must say it's amusing to see Hannity exposed for the pre-packaged-for housewives, fake, phony, fraud that he is. It's about time. I never liked Hannity. Never respected him. And now I am vindicated. I'd say that calling Savage a side show geek is a little harsh, but it's in the ballpark. Meaning he's entertaining. That's why I listen when I listen. To pass the time in the car. Hannity is way too mundane and boring, and he plays to an 8th grade level audience, specifically females.
You think suburban housewives and trendy me-too conservatives are going to listen to Buckley? Please. To them, Hannity is an intellectual, and those little infomercials he sells with his picture on the cover are books! Go figure. You should check out www.uncommonknowledge.org. They have archived shows on video and trancsripts. You can browse show topics. Pretty interesting stuff. Definitely beyond the moron Hannity level.
I think it's hilarious to learn that at the bottom of all this is Sean hawking his own web site (which I have never visited.) What a doofus.
Hey, we got more on the freepers coming up, and I'm going to give away copies of my book, and tonight on TV we'll cover whichever murder trial is titilating my largely female suburban audience today!
Most Americans learned about islam on 9/11. Where is the outrage of the Muslim community? Has any fatwa been pronounced against bin Laden? The silence is deafening..
Something about Jim Robinson's sex slave business...I think...maybe.
Never been to his site? Here's what you're missing:
Name Sean's Puppy Contest
Hannity's Dating Service
Hannity Book Club
Hannity Song Club
Hannity T Shirts
I'm still looking around to find out what Sean's favorite color is, but I'm sure it's there somewhere.
That wouldn't surprise me. He's always struck me as a bit of a momma's boy.
Whenever I turn it on, he is usually in the midst of self-aggrandizement through having other people praise him (while he makes a weak effort to decline their praise.) Other than that, he is plugging a book, or an event where he is the centerpiece, or he is debating and picking on intellectual light weights who are several levels below him, such as yelling at and debating college liberals, instead of fighting in his own weight class.
The guy talks a good talk, but a lot of it is just surface charlatanism, if you ask me. Not very academic.
As I said, if listened for one hour, I would not walk away with much acquired knowledge. To that extent, while he IS on our side, his format is pretty useless. I may not have a good radio voice, but I'll stack up my own academic, work and world travel/experience credentials against Hannity any day (he can read my profile page or my past posts, particularly on analysis of global issues). This man is out of order in calling us whackos (if that is indeed what he did). I take it as an insult. I have better use of my "drive time" quite frankly.
Yep, that's what he did! What a dweeb. It is amazing how many people (especially girls - sorry, ladies) have been taken in by Sean all these years. Conservatives can do better. Hawking his own little forum by ripping FR (fringe element), (all the good people left with me)..... was very low and uncouth. Uncouth!
In the future poor Sean will be looking at the huge #'s of wise and inquisitive members at FR, and he'll then be paraphrasing Yogi Berra about FR:
Yogi about a restaurant:
Nobody goes there any more, it's too crowded!"
ROFL!
If I remember correctly, he said that a lot of conservatives have taken the stand to turn on anyone and even their own if those people do not share that person(s) viewpoints (i.e., "eat-their-own"). News Flash......this does happen at the Free Republic.
Take for example, what would happen to me if I said that even though I am a conservative I that I am Pro Choice. Immediately my character would be torn to shreds. Someone would try to tell me that the two don't go together, yada.....yada......
I find that this forum proves he has a point. How many people here, who were loyal listeners prior to his comments, have torn him to shreds because he make that comment?
How many people have been called a troll, told to go back to DU, just because they had an opposing viewpoint? I'm not talking about Bush bashers.
It is truly akin to ____________ in the wind.
If we can bring down Dan Rather, surely we can bring this bloke down.
Now. Let's do it.
What would he have done without Rush? Come up with an original thought?
Levin, is that you?
Don't you want to get in on this, or is it too many indians and not enough cowboys for ya?
I will email Hannity and thank him for the exposer he has just given us-the main street Americans who post here.
Then I will make him aware of the out and out lie he claimed that his site does not have fringe people on. What a crock. I have never been attacked here like I was over there on his lame site...NOT EVEN CLOSE.
I don't know when it was I quit listening to him - maybe two years ago - but, your description of him is pretty much the reason I couldn't take him anymore. I also predicted he would have a "Lonesome Rhoads" moment. This may have been the moment, or at least the beginning of it.
click on article..audio is there.
