There is so little that I actually LEARN from the Sean Hannity show.

Whenever I turn it on, he is usually in the midst of self-aggrandizement through having other people praise him (while he makes a weak effort to decline their praise.) Other than that, he is plugging a book, or an event where he is the centerpiece, or he is debating and picking on intellectual light weights who are several levels below him, such as yelling at and debating college liberals, instead of fighting in his own weight class.

The guy talks a good talk, but a lot of it is just surface charlatanism, if you ask me. Not very academic.

As I said, if listened for one hour, I would not walk away with much acquired knowledge. To that extent, while he IS on our side, his format is pretty useless. I may not have a good radio voice, but I'll stack up my own academic, work and world travel/experience credentials against Hannity any day (he can read my profile page or my past posts, particularly on analysis of global issues). This man is out of order in calling us whackos (if that is indeed what he did). I take it as an insult. I have better use of my "drive time" quite frankly.

I don't know when it was I quit listening to him - maybe two years ago - but, your description of him is pretty much the reason I couldn't take him anymore. I also predicted he would have a "Lonesome Rhoads" moment. This may have been the moment, or at least the beginning of it.
