Gee, I can't imagine how the machine didn't count this...
Been tried, at lower levels. The only way that's going to happen is through use of arms. Any other bright ideas?
It's not at all abnormal for a person to vote only for the Federal/"big" races which is what it looks like that person ended up doing either on purpose or by sheer stupidity.
However, if the only mark on the ballot is the mark on the computer guide next to Gregoire then it's highly likely that it is fraud.
That being said, I wouldn't have counted the vote, even had it been for Rossi because it's just not a vote.

WASH State cannot be split in two without the consent of the liberal legislature in Olympia. Congress alone cannot take such action.

Isn't it true that WA State has had only a handful (fewer than five) Republican senators in the twentieth century?. For years, people there put there total confidence in Sens. Henry Jackson and Warren Magnuson, who rarely had any serious opposition. Then Magnuson was defeated by Slate Gorton in the first Reagan landslide. Liberal Republican gubernatorial candidates have fared better there than the GOP Senate nominees. Is Rossi considered a liberal Republican?

That video really tells the story. It is way to late to go back and look at the King county ballots, they've been compromised. We need a new vote.

To the left of the names are elipses/circles/"bubbles" that are to be blackend in by pencil. This ballot was credited to DemocRAT Gregoire, and the elipse is BLANK, as you can see.

I saw one ballot that had the oval circled for Gregoire but not a mark in it. (It was a circle drawn around the oval, but not in it or touching it, and the oval was not filled in). I would have preferred to have it be an undervote (a vote for nobody), but the Democrat had a fit and said it was clearly a vote for Gregoire, so it went to the canvassing board, who no doubt agreed with the Dem.

Just one small but important correction. I was a poll worker, observer at the "re-markings", and ballot "hand-counter" this past two weeks, so I know whereof I speak.
Voters were given BALL POINT PENS (with black ink) at the polls to use in voting, not pencils. Very few votes were cast using pencil, not even absentees. Most used pens, many even in different colored inks, not the black they were instructed to use. Fortunately very few used pencil. The pencil-voted ballots were much harder to read.
Was there ever any doubt?? Not to me at any rate.
