Like Andrea Peyser, I have had just about enough of Bill Clinton's self-congratulatory banter ("Clinton Lie-brary," Nov. 22). He came in on the wings of an economic upswing that he had nothing to do with, and he went out on its decline. He degraded his office, refused to take responsibility for any of his actions and sought no real recourse against the three terrorist attacks that took place on his watch. Enough already. Clinton spins history like a top, and Hillary enables him. When push came to shove with the Islamic terrorists in 1993, 1996, 1998 and 2000, he was AWOL. A library should record historical truth, not Clintonian clap-trap. Paul Bloustein Cincinnati, Ohio

Who gives a hoot about the Clinton library? Does it have Monica Lewinsky's famous dress in it? The guy was a bum. He was only the second president in history to be impeached. He sold us out to China. And he wonders about his place in history? At least Grant was a war hero. Robert Mings El Dorado, Kan.

Bill Clinton was not the first man, or woman, to engage in unsanctified sex. Nor was he the first to avoid, by almost any means, being exposed. It has always bothered me that he didn't simply say, "My sex life is not for public discussion," and be done with the matter. But the fact remains, his sex life should be none of our business. Peyser says that she was worried about her kids hearing about oral sex on the news. Now they can hear about torture of detainees, collateral damage and American soldiers dying. Where are Peyser's priorities? Larry McDowell Port Hadlock, Wash.

Clinton famously said he "loathed" the military.
It wasn't about sex, Larry, it was about lying.
If I were you folks, I wouldn't give a hoot about Bill Clinton. First, every candidate he campaigned for in person during the 2004 campaign lost, every state he campaigned in for John Kerry was lost, and I don't think the "Clinton Library" is being overwhelmed by visitors. As a matter of fact, I cannot find one story about the library, one way or other. After its dismal and God bestowed miserable opening in the pouring rain, we have not heard one word from the ever loving Clinton MSM about their darling "911 Causer" Bill Clinton. I personally think his best days, if he ever had best days, are long gone. And....so is the legacy he is seeking. History will not be kind to Bill Clinton or the Democrat Party that surrounded and protected him!!!
After the 1995 bombing in Saudi Arabia, which killed five U.S. military personnel; Clinton promised that those responsible would be hunted down and punished.
After the 1996 Khobar Towers bombing in Saudi Arabia, which killed 19 and injured 200 U.S. military personnel; Clinton promised that those responsible would be hunted down and punished.
After the 1998 bombing of U.S. embassies in Africa, which killed 224 and injured 5,000; Clinton promised that those responsible would be hunted down and punished.
After the 2000 bombing of the USS Cole, which killed 17 and injured 39 U.S. sailors; Clinton promised that those responsible would be hunted down and punished.
If Clinton had not pardon and released 16 convicted terrorist in August, 1999, the message to terrorist world wide would be much different.
If Clinton had kept his promise, an estimated 3,000+ people in New York and Washington, D.C. that are now dead would be Alive today.
I'm betting Hillary will campaign in the official DNC apron and give Easy-Bake oven cookie demonstrations.
Why, oh why, don't people get that? I'm sick of repeating it.
Prez BillyBoy was concerned only with his sex life and selling the office, extorting money for himself and his wife's presidential ambitions.
I saw a little of President Bush's talk at the dedication of the clinton library. At one point they panned over at Clinton and he looked awful. Slouched, with no obvious enthusiasm.

I'm sorry, who's Bill Clinton?
Too bad Klinton didn't have some really wierd sexual proclivities: like putting his Willie in a meat grinder.

Or a ball washer at the golf course.
Information about an impeached disgusting ex-president of a different era bump
I have always believed that the Clintons count on people underestimating them.
The truly amazing gall of Hillary to say in a recent interview that she is, in actuality, a "conservative Christian" is probably the best example. Planting the seeds for 2008. That one takes the cake!
"Who's Bill Clinton", indeed!
Friends - suggest you simply sit back and enjoy this adolescent man's journey into obscurity. His concerns about his legacy are moot - he leaves no legacy.
Ever visit the Jimmy Carter library? A very nice place, unsullied by visitors. Who will visit the Bill Clinton Presidential Library in a year or two? Let us allow his monument to himself speak for itself.
I wouldnt have changed a thing about it. It's perfect. Enjoy!
Bill Clinton is the first president to be publicly accused of rape? 65% of the American public believed his accuser? I just simply can't take this pervert as nonchalantly as you do!!!
That 'interview' was a hoax. It was a joke.
Thank you. I guess that proves my point. The unsuspecting or the uninformed are the base for the Clintons.
