Two 'highlights' from Elizabeth Edwards' just-completed interview on the Larry King show:
1. in describing the need to bring the country back together after the election, she expressed the fear W would be incapable of doing it, because he engaged in "character assassination" during the campaign; and
2. asked what her priorities would be if her husband and Kerry are elected, she mentioned her desire to be an advocate for military families, saying they haven't been fairly treated, and that military families hesitate to criticize W for fear of "recriminations by the Commander-in-Chief."

"When Kerry's camp sent Max Clelland to Texas with a letter to tell Bush to ask the Swifties to stop being mean to him that was rich. After years of bashing Bush, non-stop, telling lies, Kerry wanted Bush's supporters to go easy on him. This and other travesties demand action. Take your pent up anger, take your pig's pent up anger, and go, go to the polls and vote angry. Then when you walk out into the street and the democrats' lawyers and chubby Moore's cameramen, and the MSM traitors ask how you voted, with a smile, say you voted for Kerry."

I agree with everything you said, except when they ask how I voted I'll take great pleasure in saying George W. Bush. That will really drive them crazy since I live in California!!
Did anyone watch the show and could he/she summarize what was actually said? Don't mean to be a wet blanket but I'd like to know more about her talking points and less about her weight.
The comments below were taken from Mrs. Edwards' appearance tonight on CNN's Larry King Live, not Greta's On the Record show.

I made no comments about Mrs. Edwards nor about her weight. Perhaps you should post your comments to the FReepers who did make these comments.
Thank you for telling me that! I plan to make copies of all of these wonderful comments and put them in a nice book for my mother soon.
She will be so touched.
I used to spend a lot of time in Rosenberg when I was in Paramedic school. Many, many years ago. There sure were some very nice people there.
I am touched that your mother in law was moved by my Dad's story. He was honestly one of the best men I ever met. He was much like President Bush.
I hope the President hears that my Dad admired him so much.
"Boy, in addition to picking two bad candidates, they got a couple of real doozies in the wife category."
No kidding! If these guys can be judged by what they've picked for wives, sheeesh!!
p.s. 30-45 MPH blowing snow, 30 degrees, 3-4 inches of accumulated snow and still snowing. Texas Panhandle at 5:41 a.m. election day!!
Fat pig Rosanne Barr look a like.
Forest was much wiser - with a good heart!
What ignorance!
At least if the government redistributes the public gets a dime on the dollar of service.
Like Mrs. Clinton, this witch is a honking load of flab.
I lost my Dad to a heart attack in 1989, he was 58. He was a wonderful husband and a great father and he taught me how a husband should treat his wife. There will come a time when the hurts of the present and the memories and teachings of the past will wash together. You may be at a child's ball game or at a daughters wedding and when that time comes you will see even deeper how your father loved and shaped the family. We are not moving further away from our mothers and fathers, we are becoming them! It is a blessing when they are good and kind parents.
God Bless, and I will leave it at that ;-)
IF Bush looses, he still has Laura. If Kerry and Edwards loose, they still have .... Well I guess it is a no win situation either way for Kerry / Edwards.
She really needs to keep a stricter schedule ... her meds wear off way too easily.
That, is Pure, Unadulterated CRAP!!!!!
Wheres the proof of this? Thats the worst thing that liberals do and the media gives them a pass. They make accusations without a shred of proof! AARRRGGGHHHH!
Funny! Every military family I have heard from has said this is an important election because they do NOT want Kerry in the White House.
They know the militaty families love GWB. They are doing their usual. Explaining it away. Note the "fear of reprisals" comment. These stupid people presume to speak for everyone else. Makes me sick.
Put her out to graze or put a feedbag on her or something. I wonder why her pretty husband doesn't "pony" up the money to send her to the fat farm!
