Two 'highlights' from Elizabeth Edwards' just-completed interview on the Larry King show:

1. in describing the need to bring the country back together after the election, she expressed the fear W would be incapable of doing it, because he engaged in "character assassination" during the campaign; and

2. asked what her priorities would be if her husband and Kerry are elected, she mentioned her desire to be an advocate for military families, saying they haven't been fairly treated, and that military families hesitate to criticize W for fear of "recriminations by the Commander-in-Chief."

Under Bush, our flying hour program has been increased greatly. We have the funds to get parts for our aircraft.
We have the funds to get notebooks. (paper)

We have the funds to get new test equipment, new tools, and personal gear.

We were unable to get these items in a timely manner, if at all, between 1996-2000.

As I type this, I found one or two comments on what she actually said on Greta's show and the other 118 have been attack comments on Ms. Edwards. When I click on a thread that supposedly reports on a program for the cubicle bound, I hope to have more of a report of what was said. We don't have to regurgitate the same old slams that appeared already on numerous threads.

Did anyone watch the show and could he/she summarize what was actually said? Don't mean to be a wet blanket but I'd like to know more about her talking points and less about her weight.

I tried to accurately report at the top of this thread what I considered the 'lowlights' of her comments on the Larry King show.

This woman has taken her own parties guilt and blamed it ont he Republicans. She even talks with sincerity which makes her deception all the more vile. This is the cruelest and certainly one of the gravest of sins. She knows she's doing it but her heart is so calloused and far from God that she feels no guilt.

Thank you for that. He was sick for awhile so it was a good thing really.

You may have seen him on the news. He has been "on the campaign trail" for last several days since his death.

He made us get him an ambulance to take him to the poll (Barbara Bush Library no less!) on the 24th. They came out and curbside voted with him. Then once we got him home, he slipped into a coma.

Then died hours later. Pardon if you have seen this picture already, but I'm pretty proud of him. I don't know why Fox didn't cover it, but CNN has been running it for a couple of days. We're not sure how the news found out originally, but they called us.
