I was just teasing you, but you do seem to be pessimistic. Actually, I was becoming a little pessimistic when I switched to MSNBC and saw some of the exit polls.
Regardless, everyone was supposed to pay into SS, with higher earners contribution capped fairly low.
Jerry Springer tried this same "changing of the rules" when he tried to run for Congress this year.
He wanted to eliminate social security contributions for low wage earners (something for nothing) and sock the higher earners. Welcome to Marxism.
Holy cow! I watched the debate last night and decided to read this thread today. I started reading--nonstop--at 10:30AM. It is now 3:33PM!! How is the world could anybody keep up with this thread in a 90 MINUTE DEBATE???

I pray our Loving Lord to deal with Kerry, to convict him of his reprehensible iniquities, and grant to him His Wonderful Salvation. We just never know...Our Lord saves 'the Weak, the Foolish, the Base, and the Despicable,' (1Cor.1:26-30) so no one is beyond His Saving Grace. (I fit into all four of those catagories in 1st. Corinthians!)
Our Glorious God certainly made a show of Kerry openly; Kerry's lies were on display for all to see. Perhaps our God will use that humiliation to 'wake him up' from his state of Spiritual Deadness. We can only pray.

Only a sincerely dishonest person would allege that there is a dime's worth of difference between the looks of Vanessa Kerry -- the blonde one -- and Ann Coulter. I happen to think they are both attractive women, with an edge to Vanessa because she is not bordering on dangerously slim, as Coulter is, although it's clear that Coulter has much better hair. But If you want to say that Vanessa Kerry is "horse-faced," you are, whether you intend to or not, saying the same about Ann Coulter.

Someone suggested putting the yard sign in a fireant hill, and put "Tanglefoot" on the sign and post. It is messy, sticky, and smelly. Someone else suggested fish hooks on it. They come after dark, they won't see the sharp hooks. Also staple the sign to the post and leave the staple sharp on the back side, don't fold them in smooth. Another way to nick their fingers. I plan to rub poison ivy on my sign.
