On April 18th, this year, Mr Kerry, as Tim Russert's guest, assured the host, that his records would be made available to the public. To this day, only selective portions have been released. When will Tim Russert challenge Mr Kerry to fulfill his promise??
From NBC NEWS- Meet the Press:
" MR. RUSSERT: The Boston Globe reports that your commanding officer, Lieutenant Commander Grant Hibberd has suggested that you perhaps didn't earn your first Purple Heart and question whether you should have left Vietnam after six months. In order to deal with those kinds of issues, when I asked President Bush about his service in the Texas Guard, he agreed to release all his military records, health records, everything. Would you agree to release all your military records?
SEN. KERRY: I have. I've shown them--they're available to you to come and look at. I think that's a very unfair characterization by that person. I mean, politics is politics. The medical records show that I had shrapnel removed from my arm. We were in combat. We were in a very, very--probably one of the most frightening--if you ask anybody who was with me, the two guys who were with me, was probably the most frightening night that they had that they were in Vietnam and we're...
MR. RUSSERT: But you'll make all your records public.
SEN. KERRY: They are. People can come and see them at headquarters and take a look at them. I'm not going to--but I'll tell you this. I'm proud of my service. I'm proud of what we did. I know what happened. And the Navy 35 years ago made a decision and it's the Navy's decision and I think it was the right decision."
Tim, step up to the plate.....

How about releasing Intelligence Committee attendance records??? Where is the demand for these?
The worst "ass-kissers in the liberal media" are exectly like Rusert.
They practice to decieve. Further, I don't doubt they also fully rehearse their little darlings prior to going on air.
Something like ... "Now John, I'm going to look at you very sternly when I ask about your records, but you know, that's just for public consumption. I will never hurt you. I love the Party".
Aren't the Senate attendance records enough.
The US needs to wake up. This guy is the personification of evil.
Don't hold your breath. Big Russ is a Dem sympathizer.
The Press WON'T stop running interference. W and the GOP are going to have to go around the filter and directly to the people.
I knew I had forgotten one ....thanks..
I think it was Ted Kennedy. Let's remember, there was a relationship with the Kennedys going back to Kerry's teenage years. After John Kennedy was shot in the early sixties and then Robert in '68, the pre-Chappaquiddick Ted was one of the most powerful men in Washington. John Kerry simply would not have failed to utilize this very capable friend of the family in Washington to facilitate his quest to acquire PT109-like war experience to put on his job application for President later on.
On the other hand, I find O'Neill quite refresshing. I have seen him on a few shows and I never hear rehearsed lines. He answers the questions and tells his story. They don't need talking points because they don't have to remember what their lies are, unlike the junior senator from MA.
Last week's thread was an effort to send the doc to Kerry. Which is it?
The answer to this is quite simple - JF'nK will not release his records because he knows what they contain (i.e., he knows what we suspect). Doing so would only lose votes, so the best he can do is hope to dodge the question as long as possible.
There is a grassroots effort afoot. It's called people-to-people and former Kerry supporters have had it with the war hero line and are switching to W. We're going to win this.
A pussywillow.
I believe W will win also. There is no enthusiasm behind the Kerry ticket and no overwheling public anger with Bush. Blacks who would normally vot Dem will stay at home.
I can almost see election night now - Kerry gets beat big and the liberal media will be agast in disbelief because the "polls" told them this would be close and ALL of their friends were voting for Kerry.
SEN. KERRY: They are. People can come and see them at headquarters and take a look at them. I'm not going to--
"... give any sort of straight answer to your question, or do anything even remotely similar to that which I just now leadenly implied I would do. Wise up, Tim. You're embarrassing me, for chrissakes."
Now Bamboose is hanging out with Tim Russert?! Bad cat!!!
ping
Six months? Why do they put on people like Russert ho don't even know the basic facts? No wonder Tim is so easily fooled.
MR. RUSSERT: But you'll make all your records public.SEN. KERRY: They are. People can come and see them at headquarters and take a look at them. I'm not going to--
I'm sure that if any Republicans DID stop by the Kerry Campaign offices, they would play it up like the Republican "mob" who protested the attempt to manipulate the ballots in a closed room in Florida.
The veterans and WND should stop by to request to see the documents though.
