Hard to imagine that accent on a 'Swift Boat'. . .
Reminds me of Frank from MASH. I'm sure there was a lot of mocking imitations going on behind his back...
To: Welsh Rabbit
You are think of Charles Winchester III.

Dick Cavett is still alive. His show was very popular. That is when Talk Shows were good.

He says he left of his own volition?
No per his crewmates who said they asked him to leave after the 3rd Purple Heart.

(After 20 years in the Senate, all Kerry has to run on is 4 months of service in Viet Nam.)

I am amazed at this is being played...... As am I. This would definitely be worth taping....if only I had one, lol.
To: tirednvirginia
Have you all noticed how Dick Cavette is actually allowing John O'Neill to speak without interuption? Tough to comprehend anymore these days isn't it!

O'Neil says: "I think the story that Kerry has told....is fabrication."
To: ChadGore
No freedom loving American should ever forgive this suck. I believe the FBI may have a tape of McGreevey saying exactly that.

All lies. He put his request into leave on March 17, four days after his third PH wound. He requested an early out from the Navy not to protest the war but to run for Congress.

It's funny how Kerry came out back then seeming to
sound a lot like the Kennedys. Of course, I know he
came from the same neck of the woods as them, but he
was pronouncing special buzz words exactly like JFK did
and he doesn't pronounce them anything like that now.
If he's trying to recreate JFK then he needs to keep up
the charade (pronounced sha-rod). - It's all so eerie,
the John-John ticket, the JFK name, the boat hero deal
(shades of JFK)- what else?

maybe some clever producer should arrange the O'Neill/Kerry Debate Reunion Show! Bring Cavett back and of course they have to wear the white black suit combos
