Kerry received three purple hearts and therefore, upon his request, was allowed to leave the combat area of Vietnam. I understand that the Navy's policy of letting those leave the combat area after getting three purple hearts was rarely used. Does anyone in this vast knowledge of military history and facts know how many others (besides Kerry):
1. Left the combat zone after receiving three purple hearts?
2. Got three purple hearts in the Navy during Vietnam?
I think this could be a most excellent point of discussion...

Kerry has recently applied for a 4th purple heart when
Te-Ray-Za smacked the sh*t out of him recently in Arizona ...
does anyone have an update on that ?
I like the "what did he know and when did he know it" questions here. How did Traitor John KNOW that he needed 3 PHs and what was his source for this information? The suggestion that his boss told him that to get rid on him is intuitively satisfying but suggests that he 1st got the PHs and then learned about the loophole. My view is that he knew about the loophole, fabricated the PHs and bugged out.
Edwards is lying, of course, when he alleges Johnny "shed blood" in Nam. In fact, I can get more and worse wounds working in the garage over the weekend that Hanoi John got in his whole 4 weeks in Nam.
But then all Liar John need do is release his military records. If he does, we won't believe he is lying, we'll know.
KERRY: RESIGN AND APOLOGIZE!!!!
I love your "Resign and Apoligize" line. Gives him no quarter.
I don't have any current info for you. My Dad was wounded three times during WWII. After his last battlefield wound, he was transfered out of the frontline infantry and into the topographical unit where they made detailed maps for the
troops advancement. My Dad was a real good photographer and sketch artist. Try going to Google and searching their directory using key words.
I think a lot of vets are asking that question. We asked
one of our Representatives that question and he didn't have the faintest idea. He is a VietNam vet and ex-POW.
Question #3:
How many veterans in US history recieved 3 Purple Hearts and shed less blood than John "WarSissy" Kerry?
sKerry is not even in the running. He may be a media darling, but I trust John and Jane Q. American to separate the wheat from the chaff.
"You can fool all of the people some of the time, and some of the people all of the time, but you can fool all of the people all of the time." Can't remember who said it, but it works for ME!
When the going gets tough, we have to pray.
Let's pray but your premise is flawed. God allowed Bill Clinton to be elected President twice. God apparently allows bad leaders to assume power and still uses them for his ends. It's strange stuff.
We have free agency, and that means HE will not interfere. We have Bush. We had Clinton, who sold us out to China and other anti-American countries. So now, it is up to us to make sure that we elect HONEST men to lead this country, and to prevent another 9/11 with our choices.
Had it not been for Clinton, that awful day would never have taken place. He was asleep at the wheel, and that is unforgiveable.

Well unfortunately since Kerry was not listed, the database must not be complete.
I do appreciate the effort though...

sKerry's behavior at this point needs to be spread all over the public's view of him, and he needs to be sent to the nearest mental facility.
He's a Kennedy wannabe, and he will be until he dies.
I am proud of ALL of our VN Vets. I was working for Greyhound at the time, and I had no problem when I sold round trip tickets to enlistees.
What hurt was the one-way tickets and the "last" breakfasts I had to serve. It was all I could do to smile at all the fine young men....
"Well unfortunately since Kerry was not listed, the database must not be complete."
I was thinking his name isn't there because he threw away his medals!
A few more non cambodian questions
1- why did he enlist? I don't think the obvious answer is correct
2- why did he leave?
3 purple hearts doesn't get you an honorable discharge. After 4 months- I believe he was asked to leave by his commanding officers because he was a menace to himself and others. It is the only answer that makes any sense.

This link will take you to the story of Elliot Williams of Darlington, SC. This man makes Kerry, even if he really earned his medals, look like a pathetic excuse for a hero.
Elliot Williams won 3 purple hearts, 3 bronze stars, 2 silver stars, the Navy cross, the congressional medal of honor. I lived within a few miles of this man until his death a few years ago and I never once heard of him touting his record to anyone. If a war record qualifies one for the presidency, Elliot Williams should have been the king of the entire world.
We had a Hospitalman 3rd Class aboard our ship who received 3 Purple Heart citations for service in Vietnam.
As memory serves, he served as a medic/corpsman with Fleet Marine Force (FMF). Shot once, stepped on a punji stick, shrapnel wound for the third.
The Navy transferred him to our ship (a Destroyer Tender). As a Tender, we set up shop in Kaohsiung, Taiwan, Yokosuka, Japan, and Subic Bay, PI. The fleet ships came to us for repairs/tender availabilities and then went back to Yankee Station. (Oh, the sea-stories I could tell ya...) I made three of these WESTPAC tours, each a 6 month tour, and this HM3 came aboard prior to my last cruise.
--a Vietmam Era Vet and damned proud of it.
