I am listening to local radio here in Boston. The local host Jay Severin (no liberal)has been quite reluctant to be critical of Kerry for a long while now. Severin is not a Veteran so that is ostensibly his reason. Suddenly that is changing and the story may be growing legs in the liberal media.

Kerry is becoming boxed in and his non response to the Swift Boat ads is starting to make some people uncomfortable especially when considering the attention to detail which was demanded concerning W's military records by so called journalists.

Jay is saying that he is hearing undercurrents that some major media are working on this controversy and some big stories are soon to be coming out even in the liberal press.

If Kerry does ever release his military records and they look good for him then that would be very helpful for his campaign On the other hand if Kerry refuses, then he is in all likelihood toast.

In my opinion he always was Milquetoast anyhow.

-- Release your house records (one you borrowed against)

I worry somewhat that this is a rope-a-dope. They want us to focus every effort we have on this swift vet story for a month or so, then release the records. If Hannity, Rush, etc keep pounding on this, and the released records support his side of the story, we look very bad.

I support the vets and believe them, but am a little wary at the same time. I am just putting a worst case scenario out there.

I presume Kerry will still be the Dem nominee in Nov. But I suspect they might be taking bets on that in NV.

we could make thse debates public on PAY-PER-VIEW ! ALL proceeds go to the freedom alliance to benefit the children of our soldiers that have been killed in the war on terror :^) I think they would make a fair amount of money! they could also lump a couple boxing matches in with the debates
