John Kerry is either a "war hero" or a "war criminal"
Can't have it both ways.
John Kerry and War Crimes in Vietnam
He was in command of a Swift Boat
and ordered his men to do these things.
Listen to this 1971 audio clip in Kerry's own words.
LONG BEFORE THE '04 Election
Listen Here
John Kerry went before the Senate Committee on Foreign Relations in 1971
to accuse the United States military
of committing massive numbers of war crimes in Vietnam.
So my question is did Kerry lie about his "heroism" or the "atrocities" that he took part in?
Did he lie to his superiors in Dec 68 - March 69 to obtain his medals or did he lie in 1971?
And if he didn't lie then why didn't he report the crimes that he saw?
After all he was in command of a Swift Boat, not just a crew member following orders.
All John Kerry has to do is authorize the release of ALL of his military records.
OR admit that he lied in 1971.
Kerry made Vietnam the center of his campaign.
It's up to Kerry and Kerry only to set the record straight.
BEFORE NOV 2nd.
Isn't is STRANGE that the MSM is NOT calling for the release of Effingkerry's Medical and Service records? Of course the POTUS was hounded for months/years for his, but that is different......right? Right!
During my time there I can recall only one person, and he was not only a three Purple Heart recipient but also a three war veteran. I encountered many with three or more Purple Hearts during my 20 years.
He was on the first wave at Normandy, was wounded bad enough to be medically retired.
He was called back to active duty for Korea. He was on the first wave at Inchon, was wounded bad enough to be once again medically retired.
He was again called back for Viet Nam. He reported aboard using a cane. He had a medical profile (chit) restricting him to duty with no load noise, no weapons, no prolonged standing, setting walking etc. (Yea! Right!). His first mission with us included an amphibious landing in Hue to take out the Citadel Tower. He was again wounded - by the same mortar that got me - and again medically retired.
I guess it could be said that he took his three Purple Hearts and went home. Then again, he didnt have any choice.
I'd like to ask Kerry where the films of his "war wounds" are.
If he was so eager to see himself on film he surely would have filmed his "horrible" combat wounds wouldn't he?
Inquiring minds want to know.
And how much of it was spent applying for medals he didn't earn, and wasting the time and resources of medical staff?
See post 20 for the answer.
Another question a good reporter might ask Kerry. Does he know anyone or can he name anyone that also got out of Vietnam by using the three purple hearts technicality?
"He was again wounded - by the same mortar that got me"
Thanks to him and you for your service to our country.
That's funny!
Amazing story, thanks for sharing it with us and WELCOME HOME, brother!
Thank you Tonk.
bump
Hold his feet to the fire Tonk.
Lying, coward, yellow-bellied turncoat war criminal. Ask me how I REALLY feel!
BTTT.
We are finally taking control of the reality of our experience and history.
Kerry will have nothing to say or stand on once this central (and only) foundation of his candidacy goes up in smoke.
I despise him.
Thanks for your post -- and your service.
Based on Fox News' performance in the past two days, I doubt they would even ask the question, either. Bill O'Reilly, Sheperd Smith, and a female filling in last night for Greta VanSusteren all have been biased against the SwiftVets. I would like someone to tell me what is going on at Fox. Has there been a coup there? Is Roger Ailes gone? Someone said their email to Ailes was bounced back as "undeliverable".
"Of the 4 moths of his tour how many of those days were spent "filming"?"
He only went into action once, and that for a total of 1 hour. The balance of his abbreviated tour consisted of carefully posing and filming his supposed heroic ventures. It took so long because they ran out of film twice and those darn, darn "rain days"!
We know one that's running for president sure did.
