Bit, what a scumbag that "attorney" was. Made most of those I know look like saints! Wish I lived in NJ, I'd find that sucker and rip his heart out with my bare hands - that's how mad it made me. Good thing Ronnie has such wonderful friends - and had such a dedicated and caring father.

/john, how neat. A job offer already, and with the blessings of the executive chef! Way to go!

That story needs to be circulated in the lock up that the lawyer is in. Even criminals find that kind of thing reprehensible. They would fix it.

Take the dolphin stress test.

I flunked. Too much stress. I'm going to the beach Thursday. This clinched it.

I'm watching Fox and the demos squirm about the recall election. I love the smell of recall in the morning. LOL!

Hi Molly.. we lost our power & phones in early PM last night & just got them restored about 4.. just in time for round two, which is now upon us. 6" in my rain gage in about an hour. Little lull...

The water was off all day as there is a water break on the street somewhere.

Well, I am still cleaning out from Raccoons.. so ... who needs water, power & phones?

Not fair chair, sending Y O U R weather here to Ohio.

Thought you might just like this:

CALIFORNIA...

Once upon a time, God was missing for six days. Eventually, Michael the archangel found him, resting on the seventh day. He inquired of God. "Where have you been?" God sighed a deep sigh of satisfaction and proudly pointed downwards through the clouds, "Look, Michael. Look what I've made."

Archangel Michael looked puzzled and said, "What is it?" "It's a planet," replied God, "and I've put Life on it. I'm going to call it Earth and it's going to be a great place of balance."

"Balance?" Inquired Michael, still confused.

God explained, pointing to different parts of earth.

"For example, northern Europe will be a place of great opportunity and wealth while southern Europe is going to be poor.

Over there I've placed a continent of white people and over there is a continent of black people," God continued pointing to different countries.

"This one will be extremely hot while this one will be very cold and covered in ice."

The Archangel, impressed by God's work, then pointed to a land mass and said, "What's that one?"

"Ah," said God. "That's California the most glorious place on earth. There are beautiful beaches, deserts, streams, hills, and forests. The people from California are going to be handsome, modest, intelligent and humorous and they are going to be found traveling the world. They will be extremely sociable, hardworking and high achieving, and they will be known throughout the world as diplomats and carriers of peace."

Michael gasped in wonder and admiration but then proclaimed, "What about balance, God? You said there would be balance!!!"

God smiled, "Wait until you see the idiots I put in Sacramento."

How about Tornasilly???:-)

Hi jtill - How'd that search recommendation resolve itself??

lysie, well, husband is going thru books, searched the internet...he's still trying to find the problem, and won't give up, but it would sure be nice if YOUR husband was around to give a little hint!!

Dolly, we've just about been washed away! Glad you got your power back.

Okay....game has resumed....

Not!

You would enjoy this class that I am in now. Chef had us make chili powder from scratch today. It is like nothing out of a jar or tin. It is wonderful. Mmmmm. Tomorrow, chorizo. And Chef has promised us a recipe for the ultimate meat loaf. One he once served as an open-face sandwich (for lunch service) at a 3-star in Arizona.

I'm sorry. I'm having problems hearing you. The whining of Dems on almost every issue is drowning out all sound. And I love it. Texas house passed the redistricting plan. :>)
