Thank you, Joe! I had to go and fix dinner, but I am done, and now have a bit of time for myself. Time to myself is going to be precious as gold for the next few weeks...our new house is almost ready to move into, and I just got an e-mail with my orders to report for duty on our newest project on September 16. I will be doing 16-20 upper end spec homes here in SA. It's gonna be great fun to be moving to the next county and supervising building customer's homes at the same time. Oh, well, that's what I get paid for....

A bard just arrived.

Although not entirely necessary, Jose Cuervo de la Familia would be nice.

ENJOY YOUR HOLIDAY PEOPLE! I mean that most sincerely.

This place is dead (as he licks the salt from the web of his hand, slurps the Cuervo and bites the lime).

Well, then, I guess I've a captive audience (heh heh heh heh heh).

"You tell him. He is the one shaving you."

LMAO! That one goes on the email list, bro...

Well wish me luck, I am headin' down to pound some sand, though not up my a$$ hopefully... I got to score some water before I head out... Those of y'all watching Virginia area coverage, I think the entire race (VA Beach Rock-n-Roll half marathon) is gonna be broadcast somewhere or another, though why you'd wanna watch folks puking and having heart attacks is beyond me. I'll catch up with ya tomorrow, bro... ;)

The town gossip and self-appointed supervisor of the town's morals, kept sticking her nose into other people's business. Several local residents were unappreciative of her activities, but feared her enough to maintain their silence.

However, she made a mistake when she recently accused George, a local man, of being an alcoholic after she saw his pickup truck parked outside of the town's only bar one afternoon.

George, a dedicated Christian and man of few words, stared at her for a moment and just walked away without saying a word. Later that evening, he parked his pickup truck in front of her house and left it there all night.

YEEEEEEHAAAAAAAA!!! I am done runnin' for the day bro. I am Pooped. We all did worse than last year, cause the humidity was so high for the first half the race... I beat a bud of mine who's been training his heinie off for the past several months though... Bwahaha... Bud and I both came in under two hours though so by that point we were well content with THAT...

Here's the view from the front--

LOL! I can see why you'd wanna stay "ahead of the crowd", lol!
Better than seein' that crowd's heinie's, huh?
Good job. I've never run over about 7 miles. And that only once! My standard
jogs are 2 miles now and I don't do those as fast as I used to. I ought to go
back to my 3.2 miles, but I haven't decided on doing that yet. But that's ok, I can
still keep up with you on the beer drinkin', I think ! LOL!

And for all you history buffs.....

Ever wonder where the word sh*t comes from? Well, here it is....

Certain types of manure used to be transported (as everything was back
then) by ship .... When in dry form it weighs a lot less, but once water hits
it, it not only becomes heavier, but the process of fermentation begins
again. One by-product of this fermentation is methane gas ..... and as
the stuff was stored in bundles below decks on leaky wood ships, you
can see what could (and did) happen; methane began to build up below
decks and the first time someone came below at night with a lantern ...

BOOOOM!

Several ships were destroyed in this manner before it was discovered
what was happening. After that, the bundles of manure were always
stamped with the term S.H.*.T, which meant to Ship High In Transit.
In other words, high enough off the lower decks so that any water that
came into the hold would not touch this volatile cargo and start the
production of methane.

You never can tell when this kind of info will be needed!

That came in my e-mail today from my brother.
He always said he knew a lot of sh*t!
