Two-thirds of Americans believe the war in Iran has not been worth fighting.
A new AP-NORC poll found that roughly two-thirds of U.S. adults say the war that began Feb. 28 is not worthwhile. The sentiment is shared by the vast majority of Democrats (87%) and independents (68%), as well as 37% of Republicans.
The AP-NORC poll, conducted July 23-27, surveyed 1,165 adults and has a margin of sampling error of plus or minus 3.7 percentage points.

Not every piece of bad news about Trump is "TDS inspired." Sometimes it's simply the truth.
But I get it. You prefer to live in a safe space, where you're only exposed to happy news.
It’s pretty easy to get such a result when the war is unresolved and the MSM is heavily biased.
Plus, I suppose the poll never asked what the hell a practical alternative would be, or, “Is it acceptable for Iran to gain nuclear weapons?”
Hahaha...but you are so wrong there, Mr. Relevant!
It isn't a popularity contest to thinking people, but there appears to be a shortage of them lately, and people are pushing the opinions of the non-thinking personnel and trying to convince others that those non-thinking people are correct in their opinion.
New poll delivers brutal verdict on Trump’s Iran war: not worth it
As another FReeper has indicated, if pollsters have access to Democratic gerrymandering maps, then they can basically cherry-pick their poll participants for any result that they want.
2/3rds of Americans need to try joining a water protest in Iran...
Amen.
We should be done with political footballs. That only prolongs a long slide into hell.
Trump KNEW that an open conflict with Iran would be an immediate hit on his approval, would likely jar the economy, and cause a rise in inflation through fuel supply disruptions, causing real pain. He had to know that this was absolutely necessary to ensure the long-term survival and safety of U.S. interests, including at home. That is real courage, leading the brigade into battle despite the naysayers.
Have you got one you like better?
they even like to blame the people of a state for "you voted for this".
Its frightening to see what people choose to believe, we still have people out there wearing masks
Another Trump hater poll created by the Trump haters in the communist DemonRAT “media”. (((YAWN)))
You might want to revisit your understanding of the events in Iran in 1953. Furthermore, if you study the actual history of Iran you’d find that reactionary elements within Iran began the unrest in 1906 as the feudal structure of the Qajar Dynasty was coming to an end.

Homeland Iron Dome 🇺🇲 📡 here🇺🇲. Stay home from Everywhere.
It's a matter of priorities.
I'd prefer Trump focus on purely domestic issues.
Stop protecting Ukraine and Israel. Stop bullying Denmark and Greenland. Leave Venezuela and Cuba alone.
Focus on the U.S., not the world.
(A) Apparently President Trump was in accord with his predecessors from 2017 to 2021.
(B) The rationale for this war was an “imminent threat,” NOT “47 years of war.” The 47 years tagline wasn’t employed till months after the inception of the conflict,
I did not say "every piece of bad news about Trump is TDS inspired". You said that.
Your reading comprehension skills apparently need work. I said verbatim: "Of course, the truth is, we wouldn’t attack these jackass “messengers” if they ever delivered anything OTHER than TDS inspired content."
That is what I said. And in the context of the usual suspects, of which you appear to be one (or at least you took offense, so I assume you think you are one of them) that is largely true.
What a stupid, meaningless comment.
The Iran war is bad for the U.S.
That Americans are not free to protest in Iran is utterly irrelevant.
Did they do the headline before or after the poll? You can make a poll say whatever you want.
You are correct on both points.
You must be very young. You have not seen this threat growing for decades.
“2/3rds of Americans have no idea how powerful a nuclear bomb is and how crazy the Iranians are.”
*************
Absolutely true. Nor do they understand the full range of implications of lunatics having nuclear weapons and the willingness to use them.
Unfortunately Trump has not made much of an effort to educate the American people about the full range of ramifications of this threat. Perhaps he doesn’t want to frighten people or spook the markets but a big part of his job is to build support for both domestic and foreign initiatives. I think he and the country would benefit from hearing less in the way of braggadocio and more about about the implications of what we’re trying to accomplish in Iran. JMHO
Really? What were the Algiers Accords of 1981 all about?
