I don’t think he’ll try it, but it makes sense to create the possibility if only to avoid being perceived as a lame duck by the midterms.

Well, “shall not be infringed” is ignored often enough.

We changed it after FDR. We can change it during Trump.

And this is why legalizing Marijuana is a bad idea.
THC wrecks a person's cognitive brain functions and you start believeing your own imagination is reality.
put down the J, go have a bowl of cap'n crunch and then go lie down and take a nice nap. We'll talk about this tomorrow.

President for Life , works for me.
And may he live long and prosper!

Well, if it can be proven that 2020 was stolen from him by fraud, then yes, he should get another term.
And I think it can be proven, and hopefully they have that in the works.

I do not think so.
For one, he will be 82 in 2028 and 86 in 2032.
Kind of old.

I’d vote for him for another term. And I love the idea of reducing the lame duck period.

Here's Trump at 100 in his seventh term.

I’d prefer he just use this term as he promised.

The 12th Amendment states "But no person constitutionally ineligible to the office of President shall be eligible to that of Vice-President of the United States".
What a humdinger of a constitutional crisis an attempt at a third Trump term, by hook or by crook, would create.

I watched part of President Trump’s statement this afternoon. Some journalist asked him if he’s put anything in place to continue to combat cartels and human traffickers once he leaves the White House. He didn’t say it, but I wish he’d said: “Who says I’m leaving?”
