A Fox News presenter suggested during a live segment that people struggling with homelessness and mental health issues should be executed.
Brian Kilmeade made the comments on the network's flagship talk show Fox and Friends on Wednesday alongside co-hosts Lawrence Jones and Ainsley Earhardt.
The trio had been discussing the murder of Ukrainian refugee Iryna Zarutska who was killed while on a bus when Kilmeade made the now heavily criticized remark.
Jones suggested that people not taking up programs to help those battling mental health and homelessness should be locked up, when Kilmeade went nuclear.
'Or involuntary lethal or something, just kill them', he said - with the comment passing by his cohosts who looked completely unfazed by the remark.
Earhardt added: 'Yeah, Brian, why did it have to get to this point?', failing to comment on his suggestion.
Kilmeade then proceeded to say that cities with large homeless populations were voting for the wrong leaders, urging those in North Carolina to 'wake up'.
Zarutska was murdered in Charlotte, North Carolina, on August 22 after being stabbed in the neck, suspect Decarlos Brown is accused of killing her.

Kilmeade claims to be Catholic, he should know euthanasia is wrong. On the other hand, he castigated a priest who refused Joe Biden Holy Communion because of his pro-abort stance. Kilmeade said the priest was “judgmental”.
I agree!
Maybe executing them is a bit extreme.
What about bringing back frontal lobotomies?
Maybe after they recover from the surgery, they could be trained to sweep streets and clean up after dogs in the park.
maybe not kill them, but make sure they cannot reproduce. we have enough already.
I’ve been saying it for years. Cheaper than treatment and institutions. Anyone on death row should be dead and anyone given life imprisonment should be dead as well.
Of course he’s referencing executing the criminal. The postmodern justice system is the problem.
And of course, I could hear “Simple Man” from the late, great Charlie Daniels, Sr. Senior performed on Kilmeade’s show, and here’s an interview with The Charlie Daniels Journey Home Project (his foundation) leader David Corlew. Corlew was the longtime manager for Daniels (and the surviving band members) and his record label before his retirement this year (the label is now run by Charlie Jnr and Hazel), and it was clear Brian had David Corlew and CDSR in his mind.

In regards to the Charlotte killer, I do not believe he is criminally INSANE. He is a violent racist psychopath, masquerading as a schizophrenic. He knew exactly what he was doing, declaring, “I got the white girl”. It is such an abhorrent crime that people just can’t understand, so they have to put some reasoning to it.
He did not exhibit agitation, or excitability, he was not exhibiting repetitive body movement, rapid frenzied speech or any other obvious schizophrenic symptoms during a mental break. He did not attack or threaten anyone else, just the “white” girl. A schizophrenic would probably refer to a victim as a demon or a threat to himself. He flat out murdered her and deserves the death penalty, which won’t happen.
Because killing them says more about us than it does about them
We abdicated taking care of them when we closed the mental and care institutions.
We abdicated hard choices when we we chose innocent by reason of insanity rather than guilty.
We abdicated society and reality when we eliminated the swift death penalty in capitol cases and life imprisonment.

Don’t get fooled by this garbage. He was, I’m sure, saying that the mentally ill homeless WHO KILL OTHERS should be euthanized.
Until I know what he actually said and in what context I have no idea if the Daily Mail is representing it accurately. I do not fully trust them not to greatly distort.
His apology on Fox this morning was brief. I don’t know if it was enough

I’m leaning towards Brian on this one - but include the “judges” that allow them to roam free to commit more atrocities.
If the lunatic Left will not allow there to be asylums and institutionalization, what solution remains?
He didn’t limit his remark to killers. He was speaking about problematic homeless people who resist treatment. It was disgusting.
Quick executions are far more humane than making someone live in isolation for years or decades and then executing them anyway.
Quick executions are not only cheaper, they are far less cruel.
Well, that is one way to get rid of liberals.
“Or involuntary lethal or something, just kill them’, he said - with the comment passing by his cohosts who looked completely unfazed by the remark.”
With the Or at the front and the unfazed at the end I have a feeling there is more to this statement not being reported.
Worse. It is the mental health “treatments” that create most of the worst loonies. Major tranquilzers, ECT... vicious and destructive.
