A Fox News presenter suggested during a live segment that people struggling with homelessness and mental health issues should be executed.
Brian Kilmeade made the comments on the network's flagship talk show Fox and Friends on Wednesday alongside co-hosts Lawrence Jones and Ainsley Earhardt.
The trio had been discussing the murder of Ukrainian refugee Iryna Zarutska who was killed while on a bus when Kilmeade made the now heavily criticized remark.
Jones suggested that people not taking up programs to help those battling mental health and homelessness should be locked up, when Kilmeade went nuclear.
'Or involuntary lethal or something, just kill them', he said - with the comment passing by his cohosts who looked completely unfazed by the remark.
Earhardt added: 'Yeah, Brian, why did it have to get to this point?', failing to comment on his suggestion.
Kilmeade then proceeded to say that cities with large homeless populations were voting for the wrong leaders, urging those in North Carolina to 'wake up'.
Zarutska was murdered in Charlotte, North Carolina, on August 22 after being stabbed in the neck, suspect Decarlos Brown is accused of killing her.

There you go pointing out the sad truth; if he was referring to a human being in the womb who had never committed an act of murder, the author would not have batted an eye if anyone said abortion is fine.
I doubt every drugged-up mentally ill homeless person is much of a threat, so his statement is out of line and over the top. But the people responsible for creating this class of mentally ill people and destroying their ability to function and live healthy lives, that class of people certainly should be up for execution for their crimes against the homeless as well as those who suffer from the crimes the homeless commit.
I think in the context of the show, it isn’t a great moral issue since they were talking about those who, like the murderer, had been caught undeniably attempting to murder someone or actually succeeding in doing so, like the murderer who casually took this lady’s life.
If the talking head really meant to kill innocent people merely for being homeless and annoying, rather than for committing murder or attempting to, you would be correct that he is wrong [and possibly nuts himself] . Obviously we cannot go around executing people who are mental cases but who haven’t committed the capital crime of murder. I don’t think the speaker intended the comment to be pulled out of context of the conversation and topic and taken to mean innocent people of any kind, homeless or otherwise, or even untried suspects. People really need to take a breath and look at context rather than jump to conclusions.
They need to be put back in the psych centers all those RAT Governors closed in the States. Governor Mario Cuomo was one of the biggest dumpers. His son Andrew closed even more. Then Andrew and now Hochul closed a significant number of prisons in the State, and dumped not just criminals onto the street, but mentally ill patients, the same ones his Daddy tossed out of the psych centers. I know, because I worked in uniform in NY State’s prison system for 25 years. Even worse, because the crime rate rose significantly in the years after those psych centers were closed, Mario Cuomo ended up turning many of the closed psych centers into prisons to deal with the increased population. I worked in one of them.
Arguably, he was referring to the criminally insane (i.e. insane people who have already committed crimes, like the Charlotte killer). But if that’s what he meant, he didn’t say it very well.
It is not what the Third Reich actually did. You have misrepresented and lied to the forum while slandering Mr. Kilmeade. The Nazis murdered the insane and grossly retarded. Just as the soviets did and many other nations. Mr. Kilmeade is speaking of the criminally insane Who Murder innocent people. You clearly do not appreciate the difference in your quest to demagogue for a false equivalency.
You have no standing to moralize on the subject if you cannot distinguish between immoral behavior of criminals and the moral innocence of mentally retarded people.
Go bloviate somewhere else
Here’s the full 4:45 clip for full context. It seems pretty clear that Kilmeade was referring to the Charlotte killer and not homeless people in general. Watch:

Brian’s not the brightest bulb at Fox News Channel.
The left is just trying to play “gotcha” because of the firing of Mathew Dowd and others celebrated and justified Charlie Kirk’s murder. And, unsurprisingly, they’re using their stock in trade, the false equivalency, to do so.
No. No. No.
The problem with that is that it is too convenient to call your political enemy crazy. The other problem is that, instead of developing cures and treatments, the government is in charge then, and it is simpler to kill the problem persons than heal them.
“He didn’t really say that..did he?”
.
Apparently, he did...
If I lived on the streets, I’d be looking for safe shelter...
I’m twixt and tween on this one. This particular guy should NEVER be back into the public....ever....one way or another.
OMG!~! You need prayers if you were serious.
Or just wait for them to kill more of us?
Hmmmm.....
We already went down this road with the Lebensunwertes Leben.
Get some help for yourself.
Nothing else has worked and we’re not allowed to reopen the mental hospitals. The violently, criminally mentally ill are a *huge* problem that we can’t seem to find any other solution to.
I respectfully disagree. It’s totally inhumane to suggest that ill people should be killed in cold blood. The Charlotte stabber is a criminal and should be treated as a criminal.
I agree with you.
That’s a good idea too.
the left is uphauled! yet the kill babies in the womb, hes suggesting the mentally ill that have murdered the innocent. The mentally ill walking the streets are caused by the left
