A freak allergy attack led to a surreal near-death experience for nurse Julia Evans, and she passed into an otherworldly realm where she saw long-dead friends and relatives and, briefly, 'Jesus'
Simply breathing in the pollen from a bunch of flowers led to a dramatic near-death experience for a nurse. Canadian Julia Evans recalled how, as medics scrambled to save her life, she found herself in a serene state where she encountered relatives and friends who had died years before.
Speaking to podcaster Jeff Mara, she told how the amazing experience had begun. She had just arrived at the hospital where she worked on, when she started feeling “scratchy” in her throat.
She described how she started trying to work out what was wrong, recalling: "You go through very rapidly in your head; ‘Did I come in contact with something? Did I eat something funny? Do I have a cold?’
“You kind of scan your environment…and as I quickly scan I can start feeling my throat getting tighter and tighter. It felt like sandpaper as I was swallowing And so as I scanned my environment I looked straight ahead of me and at the nursing station there was this beautiful bouquet of lilies.”
Julia explained that she knew she had an allergy to lilies, but didn’t think it was particularly severe and would just avoid them whenever she saw any.
But for some reason, on that fateful morning in 2018, Julia decided to walk towards the flowers – triggering a massive and potentially-fatal allergic reaction. “At that point, I was already starting to turn blue,” shesaid.
Julia said that, if you’re going to go into anaphylactic shock, a hospital is probably the best place to be. Her colleagues rushed into action; one raced to get some medication, one telephoned Julia's husband,

Thanks for posting this article. I have heard many stories like this and I have read all of Dr. Moody’s books on near-death experiences. It is amazing how consistent all these stories are.
“This light was just so peaceful, and it felt like home. I could sense every single person that had passed away before me standing there.”
Everyone she ever knew was there?? They all made it to wonderful, peaceful heaven!? She must have lived among saints!Or does everyone get to go?
Hmmm lilies are deadly for cats, too. Of course, all cats go to Hell. *ducking*
As they should along with their owners who are just out of reach of their boxed wine to look at for all eternity.
For anyone interested in a conservative Biblical analysis of a variety of near-death experiences, Dr. Mark Hitchcock has done a very interesting study:

Cats don’t mind. They get to help with vexing the damned...”In or out...I’m not gonna hold the door open for all eternity!”
My wife saw a house on Zillow where ALL the interior doors (and one exterior door) had cat flaps. The kitties won that one.
Everyone she ever knew was there??
Where does it say that?
I could sense every single person that had passed away before me standing there.”
I call BS, perhaps well meaning. Stories of persons “dying’ briefly and going to a frightening “Hell” are out there but are outnumbered by feel good Heaven stories by 1000 to 1 or more. Not credible. It reminds me of the people who “remember” past lives and cry Reincarnation is real!!! And they invariably were a wealthy person of high society stature or glamour in their past live(s). BS.
Do you remember what life and existence were like before you were born? That’s what death is.
Dream.
During even short naps I have had dreams that felt very real but had no basis in reality.Unless humans can fly without wings..
It is also troubling how much of many religions are based on “revealed in a dream”.
“Julia says that she completely re-evaluated her life after her shocking experience, and has been left with a new psychic awareness that allows her to see into other people's souls.”
Hmmm lilies are deadly for cats, too. Of course, all cats go to Hell. *ducking*

I hate the smell of lilies, perhaps for good reason.
If they were saved they were all there. The ones who aren’t there are erased from the memory of the deceased.
The psychic awareness sentence put up a red flags.
A. Heart doesn’t explode with anaphylactic shock.
B. i encounter deceased friends/relatives (most recently my late eldest son) in dreams damn near every night.
