Thanks for posting this article. I have heard many stories like this and I have read all of Dr. Moody’s books on near-death experiences. It is amazing how consistent all these stories are.
No 2 stories I’ve ever heard were the same. Some people see nothing. My Grandma says she went to Heaven, could have at least come back with lotto numbers. People seem to see what they want to see.
OTOH, my dad went in for a pacemaker. When he woke up, he told the nurse he dreamed he was being wheeled down the hallway towards and elevator. The nurse asked him if the elevator was on fire. He said “No, I’m a Christian.” So she’d heard that one before. Merely an interesting anecdote.
We just had some small dinner with friends and somehow discussion shifted to this topic. Turned out three of us, including myself, had similar experiences.
My former coworker had similar experience too.
With the improvements of medicine, these stories have been pretty common lately.
But, there have been documented afterlife stories for very long, even from middle ages.
Renaissance painting showing afterlife experiences painted according to some person experience. Medieval popes talking to persons revived from death.
All are very much in agreement.
This is FACT!
In the accounts in the scriptures, of people dying and coming back to life, not one case of a testimony about what they saw while dead.
Lazarus was dead for 4 days, and no testimony from him about seeing anything during that time.
Life is in the blood. When the blood is dead, you are dead.
It really is amazing how consistent the stores are, isn’t it? No one ever dies, sees Mohammad, Dali Lama, or some other supposed religious figure, just Jesus.
At least, none I’ve ever read about.
