This Department of Justice does not shy away from uncomfortable truths, nor from the responsibility to pursue justice wherever the facts may lead. The joint statement by the DOJ and FBI of July 6 remains as accurate today as it was when it was written. Namely, that in the recent thorough review of the files maintained by the FBI in the Epstein case, no evidence was uncovered that could predicate an investigation against uncharged third parties.
President Trump has told us to release all credible evidence. If Ghislane Maxwell has information about anyone who has committed crimes against victims, the FBI and the DOJ will hear what she has to say.
Therefore, at the direction of Attorney General Bondi, I have communicated with counsel for Ms. Maxwell to determine whether she would be willing to speak with prosecutors from the Department. I anticipate meeting with Ms. Maxwell in the coming days. Until now, no administration on behalf of the Department had inquired about her willingness to meet with the government. That changes now.

This is unconscionable and more proof of the sickness within our leadership.
I didn't see it in 2022 when Maxwell was convicted, but the writing was right there on the wall --
Maxwell procured, Epstein abused. She's in jail. He's dead. We're done. No one else was ever involved in anything. The verdict against Maxwell spelled this all out. It was a two person operation. Full stop.
The government had this one tied up with a bow three years ago. We just didn't get the memo.
I’d take Ghislane getting out in exchange for naming ALL of the pedos.
The Deep State has had ~6 years to sanitize what was found, including 4 while Dopey was “President”. And the year and a half during Trump45, the DOJ/FBI could not be said to be fully under Trump’s control.
If you have evidence that can be used to prosecute Epstein Island visitors, get it out there, tell us all about it.
We also didn’t get the totality of evidence that existed back then. Anyone who thinks the FBI/DOJ wouldn’t have destroyed anything hasn’t been paying attention.
Naming and proving is two different things. We don’t want 100 libel lawsuits. Just because someone showed up at Epstein’s places doesn’t mean you had sex with a minor.

Today’s statement by Pam Bondi seems like a massive cope. Why wasn’t this “interview” with Ghislaine Maxwell done on day 1?
I guess what I want to know is whether the DOJ is basically saying they have never met with Ghislaine Maxwell to ask her or interview her about whether she has information about sex crimes committed against minors…
Shouldn’t they have already done this?
Maybe there is a mix up in communication. But I just can’t help but wonder whether or not this has already happened. And if not, why?

Yes, someone ..ahem..CIA...or uh..a “technical glitch” destroyed all of Alex Acosta’s incoming emails as it regards the sweetheart deal with Epstein that happened under the Bush Admin. Even though they claim it happened to more than one person it would have been easy for CIA to do it to more than one so as not to look suspicious.
There are still plenty of files that could be accessed including the transcript of the interview with OPR.
The Trump Admin itself knows whether or not Acosta said Epstein belonged to intelligence. Read that sentence again.
A CIA name trace should have been done. Where is it? If they didn’t do it, then do it.

That could be a true statement, even if a ton of evidence of crimes by third parties exist, IF the Statutes of Limitation have run out.
Whether SoLs come into play depends on the specific crimes, the states where they occurred, when they occurred.

Bingo. At a bare minimum, you'd need the victim willing to provide concrete, sworn testimony regarding sexual acts they committed with the specific accused. My guess is that is the biggest roadblock they have regarding prosecuting any additional parties.
Most of them, to the extent they could identify the guy, likely wants nothing further to do with this, doesn't want the publicity, and won't cooperate.

I would only if indictments were obtained - a conviction on anyone is a bridge too far for anyone to expect. So disappointing, disgusting and destructive.
