DNC Chair Ken Martin vented about party Vice Chairman and Parkland shooting survivor David Hogg to the point of near tears in a recent call with top Dem brass, saying, “No one knows who the hell I am."
“I’ll be very honest with you: For the first time in my 100 days on this job, the other night I said to myself for the first time, ‘I don’t know if I wanna do this anymore,’ ” Martin bluntly admitted in leaked audio of the May 15 Zoom meeting, which was obtained by Politico,
Martin, who was elected boss of the Democratic National Committee in February, bemoaned the shadow that Hogg cast over him by igniting a firestorm within the party over his plans to fund primary challenges against incumbent Dems.
“No one knows who the hell I am, right?” Martin said during the call, in which he singled out Hogg, who was in the meeting.
“I’m trying to get my sea legs underneath of me and actually develop any amount of credibility so I can go out there and raise the money and do the job I need to put ourselves in a position to win,” the chairman said.
“I don’t think you intended this, but you essentially destroyed any chance I have to show the leadership that I need to,” he said, directly addressing Hogg. “So it’s really frustrating.”
Toward the end of the leaked audio, Martin’s voice grew softer, and he paused at least twice, appearing to be on the verge of choking up.
The DNC boss told Hogg, “I deeply respect you” and “was looking forward to working with you” while griping about the dilemma that the 25-year-old school mass-shooting survivor created.

As I recall, he wasn’t even present during the shooting. In this respect, I too ‘survived’ the massacre...
If this was the RNC Chairman, they’d put this on the nightly news after Los Angeles. They really would. Since it’s DNC, it will never be reported by big three.

David Hogg is a creation of the Democratic party. He is famous because they made him famous. He was useful at the time, or someone thought so. He had ambition and a massive ego, and he has parleyed his fame into more fame. It’s something like achieving critical mass. He has long outlived whatever usefulness he had to the Democratic party, and his only job now is to gum up the works. He has actually become a problem, which means they’ll have to deal with him in one way or another. Personally, I’d drop a note to Hillary Clinton that David Hogg had acquired some “special knowledge,” and she should be aware of it.
Learned my lesson with the Sandy Hook FF to follow the changing “narrative” when it comes to alleged Mass Shootings at schools. When the Parkland HS story broke, the Stinkometer went off the chart. I watched all the early videos with students and two stick in my mind to this day, a decade later: the pretty blonde girl who said she saw Nicolas Cruz in the stairwell while they were evacuating due to a fire alarm that was activated. He was with everybody else while the shooting was going on in another building. He left the grounds just like everyone else and was later arrested at Walmart.
Meanwhile, I also saw a video of David Hogg that same day being interviewed where he admitted he wasn’t even in the school during the shooting & evacuation. He had come back for his Drama Club meeting, as I recall. How can you be a survivor of something if you were never in direct danger in the first place??
The DNC can stew in its own petard!
Hogg is the MAN. Get after it homo, I mean David.
Hogg learned from the best. Hitler, Marx and Bernie Sanders have a revulsion of PHYSICAL LABOR so are looking for management positions in POLITICS. God help us if Hogg gets such a position.
