The teenager accused of fatally stabbing Austin Metcalf and leaving him to die in his twin brother’s arms at a high school track meet allegedly admitted to the senseless killing — but claimed it was in self defense.
“I’m not alleged, I did it,” 17-year-old Karmelo Anthony chillingly told police in Frisco, Texas as he was being arrested at Kuykendall Stadium, according to an arrest warrant obtained by NBC DFW.
The horrific stabbing was sparked when Anthony, who was sitting under another team’s pop up tent as it rained Wednesday morning, was asked by Metcalf to move — and Anthony refused, according to the arrest report.
Anthony then unzipped a bag, reached inside and told Metcalf, who he’d never met before, “Touch me and see what happens,” a witness told police, according to the document.

This case may get very complicated. The kid said the other boy put his hands on him, and witnesses are saying that happened. However, the boy who did the stabbing brought a knife with him and intentionally sat in the wrong place. He may have been looking for trouble.
A teen. Aka a youth.

It’s a good thing this school allows the clowns to bring weapons to track meets. No telling what could have happened to this poor Carmelo kid. The white kid “dissed” him. He had to defend himself.

I’m sorry but Scott Adams was right. Stay away from these violent people. Never get close enough to them to stab you. The victim was an innocent young kid who never even thought this. He was a middle class kid who would never think this and died for it. Never let a black get close to you in a confrontational situation. Ever.

Well, did the kid have a "reasonable belief that the use of deadly force was necessary to prevent imminent death or serious bodily injury".
Not by any standard. But, of course, he has other arguments.
