Donald Trump Jr. illegally hunted a protected duck during a trip to the Venice lagoon last December.
Earlier this month, a local hunting lifestyle company called Field Ethos released a video online of Trumpβs trip that showed him shooting waterfowl in a special conservation area of the lagoon, Veneto regional councillor Andrea Zanoni previously wrote on Facebook.
At one point, Trump addresses the camera surrounded by dead waterfowlβincluding

Hunters have to rely on local guides to know the laws on restricted areas.
Makes me wonder if it was all a set-up.
Knock off Jr. π
Makes me wonder how this is big news :)
More information needed. No one is above the law, but more information is needed.
I don’t mind Donald, Jr. being held accountable, but accountability should be equal and without bias. I would like to see quite a few members of Congress questioned about how they suddenly became rich after being elected.
Would suck for Italy if President Trump got upset about this.
I went on a guided teal hunt in Katy, Texas once.
The guide tells you when it is OK to shoot. One of our party still managed to shoot a flamingo.
Yeah, that’s what I thought too.

I still don’t understand how you shoot a flamingo on a teal hunt, even if you don’t know that much about birds.
Laptop revenge
The top leadership of my company went for a hunt out west years ago using a guide service that took care of licenses, lodging, guides, etc. Unfortunately they were shady, the feds came down on all the customers fining them 10’s of thousands. Some fought it, the CEO was smart and just paid the fine, the rest lost their cases, increased fines, and other restrictions.
If only he’d have sold influence, used drugs and whores, evaded taxes and more he be left alone. The nations Intel chiefs would protect him. But no, he had to go duck hunting, likely with an outfitter.
No, knock posting crap from the Daily Beast via Yahoo.
The Romans ate them, and maybe even commercially raised them for food.

Hope he sues...
Not quite as good as spotted owl.
The authorities said all the rules were followed. They opened an investigation to determine if there was any criminal activity. Duck rules are very tricky.
