An invention of mentally ill American vegeterians. No red blooded Italians, Greeks etc go meatless. Pass the gyros please!

The Mediterranean diet isn’t ‘meatless’.
It does stress natural ingredients, lots of good olive oil, and moderation in red meat.

A coworker’s husband was devoutly vegetarian. His MD finally saw distressing signs of malnutrition in his test results and ordered him to start eating meat. Had effects of deficiencies.
On the other hand, Dennis Weaver, the actor on Gunsmoke and McCloud, never ate meat after one day in 1945. In early years that meant eating the side dishes all over the place before others made vegetarianism a trend.

Because that is what most vegcrap tastes like to me.

Some people actually like vegetables, cheese and legumes.
It doesn’t mean that they don’t eat meat. But I get really tired on a Carnivore or Keto diet - I’m always craving more veggies and whole grains.
Salad is not dinner.
