How many of ya'll like SPAM?
Me, love it. But, I have to boil it to bring out all that salt/sodium. Just too damn salty.
For whatever reason, it seems less salty when uncooked.
Thoughts/personal recipes?
In our house, it’s a camping item.

Spam Toss
1 can Spam
1. Preheat pan
2. Toss Spam into Trash.
3. Cook anything else in the hot pan.
We like it some nights as an easy dinner. Sliced up, fried in a little oil until crisp, dipped in ketchup. Any side goes well with it.
On pizza.
And all of the above.
We happened to be Waikiki one year during the SPAM JAM. https://www.spamjamhawaii.com/
All self-respecting gas station convenience stores sell Spam Musabi...
Dice it into small pieces and use it for Spam Fried Rice.
Try the Spam/green olive omlette. 2 eggs beaten, two 1/4 in slices of Spam diced, slice of onion diced, 1/4 cup sliced green olives, 2 TBL water mixed with salt, pepper, tabasco sauce.
Heat omlette pan with cooking spray or tsp. olive oil. add diced/sliced items. Let brown, flipping once or twice. Beat egg well, add water mixture, beat and pour over spam, etc.
Let set, pull back edges to let egg mix flow into pan. Shake to looses and then flip to cook other side. Onto plate for YUM!
Best fried.

SPAM = Spoiled & Putrefied Animal Meat
Fried in a sandwich with mustard. The basic bright yellow mustard. None of that fancy-schmancy Dijon or similar.
My wife and I were on a road trip last summer for my Niece’s wedding in Minneapolis. On the way home we saw a billboard for the SPAM Museum in Austin, MN.
Austin is the hometown of SPAM. The museum was surprisingly excellent. They did a great job of making fun of SPAM while at the same time highlighting their product.
There are actually about 12 flavors of SPAM. Since then we’ve tried them all.
I used to carry a small can of SPAM and a tube of crackers with me when I went deer hunting...I could stay up in the tree stand and have that for lunch....
Those were some good commercials!
I concur.
Merely frying very little seems to extract the salt.
Favorite Spam Recipe........ make Kraft shells with cheese and add chunks of Spam.
Easy, quick, tasty, nutritious
Spushi sounds tasty
We keep several cases on hand at all times.
We could never afford Spam. We went the off brand Treet meat.
