I have not watched an NFL game for 7+ years. I started to try to watch it but still there was too much woke crap.
I do play NFL Pro Era on my Quest headset and I love.
Understand: before kaperdink I LOVED the NFL. I am one of those guys who digs deep into strategy and tactics and know the difference between the two.
I hear the NFL as cleaned up its act and is not allowing any of the nonsense they used to do but I have no way of knowing.
One last note - pre kaperdink I *lived* for the NFL. I did not go to a college with football and I never much cared the college game.
I want to hear from Fellow Freeper Football Fans. Is it worth it to go back in?
I stopped watching or paying attention 7-8 years ago and I’ve never looked back. I don’t miss it one bit.
No. The National Felons League is never safe to watch. Instead of this bread-and-circuses nonsense, watch a more patriotic sport like hockey or yachting, which is not run over by feral animals.
I’m still not buying Tyson chicken. Give the NFL up for good, you’ll be better off.
Nope, neither the NFL nor their advertisers are pro-American in any way.
I vote “no”.
As for “safe to watch”? What would be particularly dangerous to watch, or damaging to one’s psyche? I certainly do not want to be insulted by the NFHell’s woke propaganda.
I do not watch NATIONAL FELONS LEAGUE
On a related note… I was a diehard rabid Spurs fan. From the 1970s on I watched the Spurs move from a so-so NBA team into one winning five NBA championships. Then Coach Pop and the entire NBA went woke. Not just woke but radically bat bleep crazy. That’s when I stopped watching them. Haven’t watched NBA game since.
It was never not safe to watch. The kneeling was almost over when Trump complained which brought it back. And even then it only lasted a couple of months.
I’d much prefer to just eat bread at the Circus.
I remember the NFL.
I’ve stopped watching after the first kneel and haven’t looked back. If these overpaid morons hate America this much then they need to go to a country where there are no individual rights, maybe a place a lot of us veterans have served and fought. I will even help them pack.
If you start feeling gender confusion, turn it off immediately.
The NFL is dead to me. It’s as if they don’t exist anymore.
I only watch WNBA./s
Maybe if I ever get stuck in a nursing home. There are always better things to watch on the computer.
Years ago there was a scandal in the Catholic Church with children and priests. It was terrible.
Many people stopped going to Church.
Many others, realizing their soul was more important than anything, kept attending Mass but Starved the Beast. They provided financial support to the local parish (that wasn’t part of the sinful activities) but closed their checkbook when it came to the Archdiocese or Rome.
Eternal Salvation isn’t the same thing as the Super Bowl.
But amidst all the virtue-signaling you’ll see on this thread, there is a hidden reality that everyone is consuming SOME product or service that feeds some leftist. It’s like the Kevin Bacon game: you may not own an EV, but that coffee you bought at the gas station pays the salary of Bob the guy who delivers the cups and who’s an Antifa member.
Furthermore, football is perhaps the best sport in terms of strategy, the human condition, wits, brains, and the like. There is a LOT to be gleaned that can be applied to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness - like NEVER throw a slant pass at the goal line when you have a killer running back and a time out to burn.
Watch football on TV, don’t go to the stadium, don’t buy the products advertised that seek to railroad your liberty, and remember most of the people telling you that you’re a dope for watching football are likely 300 pounds and typing bravely from Mom’s basement.
And most importantly, Dallas still sucks.
Yes, it is safe to watch.
Tom Brady has retired after twenty seasons, nine Super Bowl appearances and seven championship rings.
He has passed the torch to Patrick Mahomes. A nice young man who plays QB for the Chiefs of KC. The only negative is that their star tight end(Travis Kelce) is in a relationship with Taylor Swift.
The Buffalo Bills have a great QB Josh Allen. He is an absolute joy to watch. However, they have yet to win the big game. Losing the AFC championship two years ago to KC.
The only controversy is the refs potentially fixing the games. Maybe even the Super Bowl where the Chiefs beat the Eagles.
No NFL. No NBA. If you’ve detoxed, why go back?
The Jets still suck, as does Cleveland, the Cardinals.
Aaron Rogers(Jets QB now)got hurt about two minutes into the beginning of last season.
There is now talk of Bill Belichick going to the Cowboys. Unless their current coach turns it around.
