Nobody is trying to extinguish the inferno...................
đ±đ±đ±the environment! whatâs gonna happen to the environment?!
All that carbon is simply returning to its natural state....................
I see no reason why that can’t buff right out.
As these things get older and the owners start skimping on maintenance, this is going to happen more and more. They will be like timebombs driving down the highway.
And they won’t be able to get out because they hide the emergency latch.
Lithium batteries will burn for hours/days even while completly submerged in water.
NASCAR want’s to go electric....LOL!
This was at a Sheetz in Upper Allen, PA (near Harrisburg) btw.
How many people get electrocuted while charging their EV in the Rain ?
I was confused when we first moved into the area. Upper Allen is south of Lower Allen. So one day I asked an LEO to explain. He said it isn’t latitude; it’s elevation. Near Harrisburg and the Susquehanna River you’re in LOWER Allen. Further south, toward Gettysburg, you’re at higher elevation, ergo; UPPER Allen Ttownship.
How would you explain Center Lovell, Maine? Half way up the mountain?
Does the next EV in line get to charge its batteries now?
The whole station is out of service for hours, perhaps days.
Ping...
Or worse, parked in a garage
I’m prety sure no one will want to charge in an area with a Tesla inferno.
“Oh, no.....here I go again....lemme see....start the insurance app and take a picture of this burning mess to file with them....oh, wait, that’s out. The phone is in the car...”
Pennsylvania Ping!
Please ping me with articles of interest.
FReepmail me to be added to the list.
I’m only posting links because full-size/full-detail images would blow this page’s proportions out of whack.
Prolly the best shot:

It is the nature if energy to want to “move” and therefore to resent confinement. Ergo, it will, whenever able, escape.
The miracle of fossil fuels is that Mother Nature has captured fusion energy transmitted from the sun in the form of electromagnetic radiation and transformed it into a highly energy-dense, relatively stable and easily transportable form, and stored it in the ground, all free of charge.
All we need do to avail ourselves of this miracle is dig it up and process it a bit to better suit the specific end purpose.
This is why “green” energy will never be neither as usable nor as effective nor as economical as fossil fuels, and is, thermodynamically speaking, a Fool’s Errand.
Yep, don’t think that one is salvageable.
TeslaGator will probably blame it on the charger. Oh, wait, that’s Tesla, too.
Hope everyone got out of that fire trap.
