Exactly! The last time I had my BP taken the cuff left a bruise! I keep trying to get them to understand that when it hurts my pressure goes high! I try to get them to use a child's cuff on my wrist or at the very least a wide cuff.

A Poll just came out where I am way up on Biden in the General Election. I was using a cuff that auto-inflates but had to stop because it hurt so much that my BP was always too high.
I bought a wrist cuff and when used right, it’s very accurate. I prop my elbow on a pillow to get it at heart level and it’s as accurate, or more accurate, than the arm cuff type.
When the home health people were coming to see my husband, they were skeptical of my wrist unit. We checked them several times against each other and mine was always the same as their arm cuff. After that, they had me recheck their cuff against my wrist unit when they doubted their cuff. LOL
With most doctors you are spitting in the wind to make them understand but nurses are easier to reason with if a doctor isn’t looking over their shoulder.
I don’t usually mind taking a prescription she recommends as long as the side effects aren’t terrible. I check them before I take a med. I won’t take the osteoporosis med. I won’t take the Covid vax.
She doesn’t like it, but I won’t do anything that I’m pretty sure is a bad thing. I know very few people taking osteoporosis meds that say they work. Most said they cause worse problems. I won’t try anymore statins. I for sure won’t take the Covid vax.
It’s not a matter of caring. We know the cabal does not care. It’s a matter of explaiing stuff so more and more people understand what is going on.

I saw your post about being nervous about taking IVM from out of the country but can’t find it now.
At first, I felt the same way. I took the horse paste. Eventually, some of my family was interested but refused to even consider the paste. That was when I looked for a source of human IVM. It was not OTC in TN yet.
I realized that most of our generic meds come from either India or China. We apparently don’t make anything here anymore. I decided to try India. This was before Biden decided to make it difficult and I was able to get some without interference.
I refused to give the family any until I took it first. So far, they haven’t needed it. I have taken it in winter for the last two winters without issue. The type I got has the USP symbol and is made for the US.
Would I do it now? Maybe not, unless we were desperate. I will take the paste. They won’t.
If I could find it in the US, I would do that now. After two years of Biden, there is no way I would knowingly take anything coming from China. Most of the meds we take now come from China.
India is a better option if you can’t get it from a TN pharmacy or you just plain can’t afford it from the US. India is much cheaper.
One of those two aren’t allowed to practice in TN. I think it’s the Naturopaths, but not sure. I think Homeopaths are allowed. I’m always looking for a more natural approach, but it can be difficult here.
I have been taking a thyroid med for hypothyroidism since I was in my 30’s. That prescription has never caused me a problem and until the “not a statin”, it’s the only med I take daily. I take supplements.
I too, refused to take bp medicine. I swear by beet root juice, turmeric milk, clove tea, or hibiscus tea. I don’t use all of them everyday but alternate for variety. I switched to decaf coffee too. It’s kept my bp at a reasonable level in addition to other benefits. Now, if I could only stop smoking.....

I’ve heard about beet root juice, think I might give it a whirl! Turmeric is very beneficial and was recommended by a FRiend here, I’ll have to look up Turmeric milk; is “milk” milk-milk or just a descriptive?
BTW, I quit smoking in 2017 after my bout with pneumonia. Quit cold turkey and every time I had a craving, which was often, I’d tell my self “you can’t be craving that, you don’t smoke”. LOL. I still get that craving once in a great while.

Thank you. Added to the tragedy is that she chose to wait to deliver naturally. The doctor had offered the option to induce labor a couple days earlier. Now she blames herself. How do you push past that?
I can’t even imagine! We don’t have kids, but losing a pet haunts me for years. Multiply that pain by 1000, I expect.

I’m so sorry to hear about your family member. It’s been bugging me. That is what I hate about those that pushed and forced this vax on so many. Most don’t have the resources we have to know beforehand and too many were not able to quit a job in order to refuse it. Even if we tell them, they choose to believe the doctors. I hope the doctors are eventually held accountable too.
I hope she doesn’t continue to blame herself. I can’t imagine!
