They need to study consciousness. Just as electrons moving from an outer orbital to an inner orbital give off a photon, so does consciousness when is lowers in frequency from a higher level.

This is why I see the Holy Spirit as liquid light.

This is also why the artists saw the Light around the Saints and mystics of many religions.

Higher consciousness has Light as a primary attribute and it has the ability to bend Light.
