On the other hand, though, hand sanitation may be ineffective regarding this ‘virus’ it is still a significant aspect of the ‘sterile procedures’ long recognized as critical in contending with Patients.
In any Health Care Program, the emphasis on hand sanitation simply cannot be understated. Back in my day the first two weeks or so was dedicated to adhering to protocols established by Joseph Lister and others. We received intense training on hand washing and proper methods of maintaining the condition for as long as possible. It felt ridiculous at the time to allocate so much time to learning how to use soap and water, but we pretty much all do it.
Admittedly hand sanitation might be a useless exercise regarding this Covid BS, but it certainly is unlikely to hurt.
