ALEXANDRIA, VA—In an effort to root out racism, the Salvation Army announced they will no longer be accepting any donations in the form of bills or coins that have white people on them.
“Ever since we learned that racism is everywhere, all the time, ingrained in every aspect of life, we realized most U.S. currency depict the faces of white men who only did evil, racist things in their lives,” said the Commander-in-Chief of the Salvation Army, Clurvis Bellman. “We then decided the best way to feed, clothe, and comfort the poor and needy is to stop accepting money tarnished with the faces of men who were basically Hitler.”
This new policy has required some modifications to their standard donation procurement; red donation buckets seen outside of retail establishments will now be accompanied by a bell ringer, a money examiner, and a public shamer to loudly criticize the donor for trying to help the poor with evil, white supremacist money.
The Salvation Army later announced they have defeated racism and have also filed for bankruptcy.
“All of God’s children then exercise these liberties for strongholds of competence and self-worth for building individual character and exalting the human spirit. Those defaulting to race or ethnicity to find acceptance and success are to be pitied.”
BY YOUR OWN WORDS YOU ARE JUDGED!
Simply breathtaking hypocrisy!
Hey, guys! This is from the Bee!
ROFL
I know it’s from the Bee. Still, I wonder what their donations look like after their screwup.
Me, neither.
Here is a refresher of the Salvation Army guide that takes White People through admitting they are racist pieces of crap and how they need to apologize to everyone of color:
“-Denial of racism. We must stop denying the existence of individual and systemic/institutional racism. They exist, and are still at work to keep White Americans in power.
• Education about racism and inequality. We cannot rely on our Black and Brown brothers and sisters to educate us about racism, White supremacy and the inequalities that exist because of it.
• Defensiveness about race. We have to stop taking discussions about racism as a personal attack and instead be open to hearing about our blind spots. We all carry some bias, and the only way we will get past it is to talk about it
-Stop denying that White privilege exists and learn how it supports racial inequity. You may not feel privileged, but it is likely that you have been excused from numerous negative experiences, as well as benefitted positively simply because of your Whiteness. Denial of White privilege keeps the current systems affected by racism in place, and we must begin to change that.
-Have an honest awakening about race in your life. Books like White Awake and White Fragility can help, as well as earnest prayer and completing this resource.
• Take a personal inventory on race and discuss it with a friend. If you engage a trusted Black or Brown friend, please make sure they have the emotional and mental capacity to handle this.”
A VERY foreseeable “Go Woke, Go Broke” future.
Had me for 1 second until I saw it was from the Bee.
Hey now! We give the field blackamoors Sundays off and let the high yellows work in the Big House whilst I sip mint juleps on the veranda. Ah even attended a broom-jumping just the other day and gave the happy couple a whole chicken.
That’s how I imagine North Easterners picture everyone in the South. We might get technology down here as soon as we figure out these confounding horseless carriages.
I pledge 1000 dollars to them with a picture of Robert Mugabe on the front, the black Marxist dictator of Zimbabwe. Unfortunately, it is in his currency. About 3 bucks today and worth less tomorrow.
If one want to do good charity donations look to a church. Not all churches. Find out how they use the charity donations and very importantly how much their overhead expenses are. If the overhead expenses are low and you agree with how the money is spent, use them.
Charities should know better than to alienate half or more of their potential donors.
In Eugene Oregon, I would give them money, because many of the businesses would refuse them to allow them on the premises. They just looked too Christian.
Ever since we learned that racism is everywhere.
Good luck with getting money from BLM
Yep, the Salvation Army was my favorite charity for years and I donated several times annually.
I haven’t sent them a dime since they asked me to apologize for being white, though.
CRT is important to the Salvation Army. We had always put money in the familiar red kettles until the organization biggies decided to support Critical Race Theory. Since I do not support bigotry, I can no longer support the bigotry evidenced in the Salvation Army.
I am almost tempted to do it, but the bell-ringers are not the culprits.
Oh, that is so great.
