A 76-year-old Florida man was arrested after becoming impatient and driving into a road worker in his Porsche.
According to FlaglerLive, Donald Steimle, 76, had an “encounter” with a flagman names Isaiah in Palm Coast on Thursday.
The outlet said that a road crew, paving the road, was directing traffic. 76-year-old Steimle ignored the flagman Isiah’s instructions, drove into oncoming traffic, revved his engine, and drove into the flagman.
According to FlaglerLive, Isaiah was able to get Steimle to stop “so he did not cause a head-on collision,” Steimle’s arrest report states, as he stood in front of the car.
Steimle “began to yell that he needed to turn left.” He then “revved his engine and proceeded to lunge forward into Isaiah striking his legs and pushing him back against his will.”

They are the worst drivers!
I’ve never seen so many people in such a hurry to get up to the next red light.
And if you try to merge into the lane next to you, they’ll speed up to prevent it, and then blare their horn at you.
If there is traffic moving along at a nice pace on the !4 at a steady 65mph some moron will come zooming up from behind at 90mph weaving in and out of traffic to go past everyone.
I like to get into the empty lane next to me and block them. They don’t like it.
I’ve almost been in more physical fights in the last year than I have the rest of my previous 64 years combined. Most of them from traffic.
Like in my old state of Maryland, we do have the speeders. However, the seeming hallmark of Florida drivers is to pull out into the road seconds before you get to the intersection. They’re great for pulling out in front of other people.

Neither agreeing, nor disagreeing with you, but over the last year, I've noticed an alarming increase in both uncivil driving, jay-walking and general jack-ass-ery.
I chalk it up to a breakdown in civil society brought on by COVID. I'm just saying it could be happening in any metropolitan area.

VERY dangerous job. You learned quickly not to trust anybody.
One day it was scorching hot, I was on flag duty and feeling miserable -
- a truck pulls up next to me and the passenger hands me a huge plastic mug - full of Jack Daniels on ice, "have a nice day, dude" - like Christmas morning....
It would have wheels and a handle, and could even be battery powered like shopping cart movers.
It would high-center the car of any driver that got too close to the flagger.
