They are the worst drivers!

I’ve never seen so many people in such a hurry to get up to the next red light.

And if you try to merge into the lane next to you, they’ll speed up to prevent it, and then blare their horn at you.

If there is traffic moving along at a nice pace on the !4 at a steady 65mph some moron will come zooming up from behind at 90mph weaving in and out of traffic to go past everyone.

I like to get into the empty lane next to me and block them. They don’t like it.

I’ve almost been in more physical fights in the last year than I have the rest of my previous 64 years combined. Most of them from traffic.

I've been a "flagman" in Florida - grew up working construction, our 'breaks" were taking turns with the traffic flag.

One day it was scorching hot, I was on flag duty and feeling miserable -

- a truck pulls up next to me and the passenger hands me a huge plastic mug - full of Jack Daniels on ice, "have a nice day, dude" - like Christmas morning....

Flaggers need a "dragon's tooth", an oversized version of the jacks that kids play with in the game with a small rubber ball.

It would have wheels and a handle, and could even be battery powered like shopping cart movers.

It would high-center the car of any driver that got too close to the flagger.

Unfortunately, flagman is screwed, as the perp drove away cleanly. The most impossible cases are when the perp reaches home base, and the detective has to knock on the door hours later, and this azz had the wherewithal not to outright lie about being at the intersection, but simply disagreed with the flagman. Ouch.

DA will be sipping his SBUX later this week at their twice-a-week early-ass roundup with his assistant DA crew, and they will label it a total no-winner and give it to the new guy to try and browbeat Mr. Porsche-duh into whatever enhanced moving violation applies (Shit, I need to know this, now that I'm living there part-time...).
