Who are the retards importing all these monsters into Florida? Not just the snails, but snakes, iguanas, exotic fish. There is a lot of truth to Florida Man. Can't they just take nature as they find it? Florida has plenty of wonders without introducing vermin.

The giant african land snail (GALS) eats stucco paint off of buildings. The calcium in the paint helps their shells develop.
Last fall, the GALS was declared eradicated in Miami-Dade and Broward counties. Apparently, the invasive critter relocated.
