Dems tell Biden to drill

...which means it's getting pretty bad out there. Joe isn't listening.

President Biden was in Texas on Tuesday. His visit was so short that they didn't turn off the engines on Air Force One.

It was a strange visit because Beto O'Rourke, the Democrat running for governor, did not get an invitation, or did not respond to it.

Who knows? Beto can’t stop talking about the lights going out 13 months ago.

We do know that a few Democrats want more oil production, according to a letter posted on Fox News:

A group of Texas Democrats Tuesday called on President Biden to do more to unleash domestic energy production in the United States in the face of rising gas prices and reliance on foreign countries for energy.

Rep. Vicente Gonzalez, D-Texas, led a group of Texas Democrats in a letter to Biden Tuesday applauding his announcement to ban Russian oil imports while urging him to enact clear policies to help domestic energy producers boost energy output for the U.S. and beyond.

Drill baby drill or something like that.

My guess is that these Democrats are not alone on this. Every Democrat and Republican must be bombarded by angry constituents paying over $4 a gallon at the pump. One of these Democrats, Rep. Henry Cuellar, is in a tough runoff against Jessica Cisneros, a Texas version of the Squad. I'm sure that Mr. Cuellar will call for more drilling and Miss Cisneros will call for more green energy. It will be fun to watch which message moves the district.

It shows that Biden’s handlers want things to get worse.

It only takes 5 or 6 Democrats to hold the House hostage until they get Biden’s attention. Will they do that?

For the record, is the keystone actually complete and working?

I thought it was but saw a piece yesterday that said it was a year from functioning after the go ahead

Biden’s handlers see this as a once in a lifetime to completely transform energy in the USA. Just like Putin and Xi see this as a once in a lifetime opportunity to grab territory.

Angry old senile men who steal their way into power do not listen to, or answer to, mere citizens.

Biden is watching Matlock.

It’s the climate-change religion Obama minions that are pushing these policies.

They think oil is some evil substance, yet they love the earth that produces it.

"It only takes 5 or 6 Democrats to hold the House hostage until they get Biden’s attention. Will they do that?"

Cynically, I'm guessing there are some on the GOP side who will pay lip service to drilling and reopening, but secretly hope gas prices stay high through their mid-term campaigns so they have the issue to run on.

If Biden and his handlers alter course, ease restrictions on the energy supply and prices start to drop, Rinos might have to work harder to convince people their worth voting for.

Keystone XL is just another phase of a pipeline that already exists. It is a larger pipe that is Phase 3 (I believe) of the construction.

All the nonsense over environmental concerns is lies because there are already pipelines running in the same direction but lack the capacity required.

Refineries in Texas have invested millions to be ready to process Canadian Tar Sands Crude.

So much has been spent and constructed already that shutting it down is simply cruel.

In as much as the problem is a futures concern, any action that is perceived as the US ramping up production both short and long term will send prices lower. So yeah. Prospect. Drill. Pump. Open new pipelines. All of the above.

You know Democrats are not serious about Biden's oil policy until they start using the magic word... IMPEACHMENT.

For the record, is the keystone actually complete and working?

Even if it's not, its' future status affects futures which is part of what controls prices today.
