I was watching an old Betty White Show on Amazon before it goes off their site. A Date with the Angels. Women were so subservient.
“The late Jerry Lewis” was not gracious. Why Is it that perpetrators in Hollywood are protected for many years? Is it because the perpetrators intimidate victims? Sheesh. Shirley Temple complained a lot when she was a kid about Louis B. Mayer and got ignored. Yeah, well, we know the answer. Perpetrators thrive when Catholicism is downplayed. Tragic.
And all Jerry Lewis statues must be removed at once!!
I always loved Jerry. I don’t care what anyone says.
Unctuous and funny at an 8th grade level. He disinherited all 6 of his sons from his first marriage. That pretty much sums up the man.
What I heard about Dean was that he didn’t really drink much, at all. The ever-constant “drunk effect” routine was for show.

i dont know the story but I can see it. Dean Martin was the sexy songster and Jerry was the irritating side kick. I can see his ego getting bruised.

You can get an idea of what he was like by watching some of his video interviews. He was a jerk.
Makes you wonder what the real reason he broke up with Dean Martin who never spoke to him again.
One of my friends knew and worked with Jerry for many years. He told me Jerry was 5 different people, 3 of whom he hated.

We can admire the talent of these artists, but quite often they are not very good human beings. In some cases I think “artistic temperaments” are unstable to start with. Add to that they are treated as if they are above everyone else and it’s no surprise some of them act the way they do.

i have never heard of her but she aged well. that pic of her in 2012 look pretty good for a woman approaching 80 at the time.
there are other actresses that confirm it happened to them.
given the mindset at the time and the various people coming forward it is possible it is true.
